neem oil wont hurt any thing as long as it is mixed to directions . I sprayed the soil before on clones. are they nats ? have wings ? odds are they are those pesky nats . they don't hurt any thing just piss you off . they lay eggs in water logged soil or pellets .

I've mentioned it in a few threads but for soil i recommend something with imidacloprine in it and that seems to kill everything i just do everything twice the recommendation and then neem oil for leaves seems to work on everything as long as you take the time to spray the entirety of the leaves on all plants

Thanks for replies guy rep points given for all answers i cant get a picture and i lost my microscope lol just my luck. but i do think they are fungus gnats out of all the bug. no webs or white spots so i dont think its mites. and the plants are nice and health so i doubt root aphids. my finger points at gnats. If they are harmless ill leave the alone

Fungus gnats are far from harmless; I'm sure you already know that, LOL. I've found that fungus gnats usually can be seen crawling around on the moist soil. A "No Pest" strip works very well to keep down the adults but you will probably have to use a soil drench or predatory nematodes to get rid of the eggs and larvae.

If you use sticky stakes and really dry the fuck out of your plants that will work but you have to dry your plants enough you're probably gonna lose some foliage

peroxide and water 4 to 1. let the soil dry a couple days, then use enough mix to cover the top of soil. that will kill eggs and pupae on contact.
also, pour boiling water down drains once a week as they live in drains too. treat visiting spiders well, they will set up shop near the plants to get those gnats. j"

Ive got tons of bugs crawling around the soil. Are the gnat pupae tiny white little jumping things? Since, they float, I watered heavily and sucked em up with a wet vac.

So will neem oil not work for me? They have just rooted a day or 2 ago and some still dont show roots. all are still in root riot plugs. the bugs are multiplying and i now see white eggs(they are bigger than the bugs but look lile eggs) i dont have my microscope so this is all just by eye. they are small brown bugs that move FAST so fast that alot escape when i try and get them with a toothpick
