Tiny black bugs/Beatles

We have a problem with fungus gnats for a few months now, tried several treatments like neem oil, hydrogen peroxide, diatomaceous earth, yellow sticky Cards, drying out the soil, I recently spread diatomaceous earth on the Bottom of the tent which seems to kill the ones crawling around, on top the fungus gnats we are seeing a lot of tiny little black bugs or Beatles crawling around, there are hundreds of them in the soil and on the floor of tent, they don’t seem to crawl around on the plant and our plants look really healthy, but we have no idea what to do anymore about the pest, we are 9 days into flowering now

I will try to take some pictures tomorrow but the bugs might be too small for the camera, they are smaller than the fungus gnats and just crawl around in the soil and on the bottom of the tent, I have puddles of them in certain areas where they seem
To bunch up, right now they are all grey to cause they’re getting covered in diatomaceous earth and are dying, the plants are currently sleeping
Thank you, first time growing indoor, we have some outdoor plants too(also first grow) these have powdery midlew, not bad but there are little spots here in there, all these pests and mold on first grow yeah >.> just started some autos in a second tent I hope these well go smoother

When you get the bugs on film, make sure you snag one and put it on white paper. Use the macro setting and get as close as possible as long as it's a clear image.

More than likely, someone will have seen them and let you know what you have before I get back but if not, I'll break out the bug bible and I.D. it for you if I can see the identifiers.

They do not jump or move fast, they are slow and seem to just be crawling around, I don’t see any bugs on the leaves or sign that leaves are getting attacked, so they seem to stay on the soil or crawl sown to pot and get lost

Try lost coast plant therapy. Its a bit expensive but has worked wonders for me. Spray everything. The plants the bottoms of leaves the soil, the floor etc etc. spray lost coast at “night”, then spray off your plants with just plain water before the lights come back on.

I hydrogen peroxide soaked the soil, lighter mixture than last time 1/2cup hydro into 1 gallon jug and filled rest with water, and made sure to trench the whole soil, I vacuumed out the tent, stuck new sticky cards in the pots and spread more diatomaceous earth on the soil and in the tent

I feel like they was already in the soil that I got, 707
Could very well have been.

from my own research briefly I’ve found a product called BOTANIGARD that is supposed to treat them using a bacteria.

maybe this may be the way forward for you but I know of guys on here that have had real issues trying to deal with them.

Sorry to hear this.

I’ve never had to battle them and hope I never do.

I have heard of people having to either move location of the grow or stop for a while to eradicate them completely.

i'm pretty sure azamax works on root aphids i could be wrong but i got a blueberry bush and i thought i saw a adult aphid and i just started hitting my bush with aza and i hit my vegging plants. im pretty sure azamax is systematic so just gotta spray it and it should stop the feeding but your gonna most likely have to hit it more than once. ive heard people do it every 48 hours for a week or 2 they say it got rid of them. i could be wrong but im pretty sure azamax will fuck the things. If using for flowering cannabis i wouldn't do it more than 1 week into 12/12 me personally.

Mosquito bits. Sprinkle them over the soil and water. Will kill off the larvae within days and each application is good for 7-14 days. You will see the adults go away within a week or two as their natural life cycle ends... or do sticky traps as well and you'll see a massive improvement quick!

Its a variety of bacteria that will colonize the soil and emit a natural insecticide/cry toxin. Non harmful to people/animals and not uptaken into the plant like other options so safe mid flowering.... I apply up til week 7/8 if needed.

Natural Guard Spinosad Soap and be done with it. Don't use it on flowers bees prefer.
