Time to flower?

How much height does your grow area have? I mean most strains will grow 2-3x the present either in flowering... if you have space available I would let them get taller, forget width as looking at those you have plenty of room for that.

I concur with reverof. It really depends on how much space you can give them. Keep in mind that as they grow taller, if you only have lights overhead the lower parts of the plants will get less and less light as you move the lights up to accommodate the height they gain in flowering, so shorter may be better for overall quality.

I have about 5.5 feet total height, my pot is about a foot, so essentially 4.5 feet for my plants. My width is about 30 x 30 inches. My plants are currently 8 inches high and 8 inches wide. I was thinking that if it continues to grow as it does, my width will be a problem before my height.

That's what I was thinking Jameson, if I flowered later, and I have only a 250 watt MH and 65 watt CFLs, then penetration to the lower parts becomes bigger problems as the plant gets taller... I'm already about 6 weeks in.

Also, if a 65 watt CFL cost basically the same as a 105 watt CFL, would I be stupid not to get the 105watt when changing over to flowering bulbs?
