Time to feed nutes

I somehow have a problem with a lot of threads that state don't feed nutes to your seedlings 'till week 2 or what ever. I feed my seedlings 400 to 600 ppm from time of sprout and have never had any problems. I use GN Flora Gro,Micro,Bloom. My h20 runs about 180ppm or so which in terms means my nutes are around 400 or so. I use T5 lighting and have good grow. If I have never had any problems why does everyone say don't feed 'till week two ? I will try to add pics

looks like you got a badass algae problem there bud. i'd get that fixed asap.

i feed 100-200ppm nutes from the beginning. i wouldn't go 600ppm like you though. i'm usually around 600ppm 2-3 weeks into feeding them veg nutes. in my experience too many nutes when they are young creates a ton of problems. you've got curled leaves and nute burn. try not to stress them when they are that young.

Thanks for the reply guys, I just thought the purple stems was that particular strain, I will take your advice, flush and lower the ppm at seedling time. I negleted to add the I grow in rockwool grow cubes

exactly, deetee you should be careful what you tell people cause ive burned 3 ft plants at 350 ppm. i keep my seedlings at 100ppm until i get then under the metal halide

i've been growing for a long time and i've never heard of anyone burning a 3ft. plant at 350ppm. i'm not saying you are lying but i've run soil, hydro, recirculating, drain to waste, even under current right now. never have i gotten a strain that couldn't handle 300ppm at any point in its life.

have you ever used advanced nutrients? that might be the reason cause it has a high salt content and its strong stuff. i will never understand how you all are able to give plants nutes as high as you do

high salts in a nutrient will not cause burn; especially that early. salts have to build up in the stems and roots to cause plant problems. are you sure it's nute burn you are getting and not a deficiency or a toxicity to one specific base or micro nute? when you got burn at 350ppm on a 3ft. plant how old was the plant and what were you feeding her?

i've used advanced sensi 2 part for years. never had that problem. even back in the day when GH had their old formula that was loaded with salts i never had that problem.

the burning happens with by blubonic strain at 350ppm (ec x 500) when there even 3 ft tall in flower. i dont really feel like going back and forth about this we'll just agree to disagree. i know you dont feel this way but i really think different nute company's take different ppm's. even with dyna gro ive burned big plants at 400-450

sorry, i didn't realize we were going back and forth. just asked a few questions. sorry if you took offense to them. good luck.
