Time to chop?

i usually leave the bottem half of the plant for another week or so. how many watts of cfl did you run? if you wait youll get more potency and a higher yield. if you look in my blackout kush journal youll see how its supposed to be done. all pistils are orange, and trichs are super cloudy: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/671554-jamaica-seeds-blackout-kush.html
420 actual watts which was the equivalent to 1,850.
I thought rule of thumb was to chop when you see the start of amber, any longer you wait your just letting your bud degrade since amber trichs = degraded thc which turns to something like cbd which actually makes you feel sick.
correct me if im wrong.

it really depends on the strain. kushes finish in a week after seeing the first amber (on the flower, not the sugar leaves) while sativa heavy hybirds can take 2 sometimes even 3 weeks.

my diesel went 12 weeks from pistil sighting, my master kush, thc bomb and blackout kush went 10-11 weeks from pistil.

youll notice that you have a lot of clear trichs left. its better to let some cloudy fall to amber while the new clears turn into cloudy. i like 10-20% amber.

this blackout kush has been the first plant thats ever had literally all cloudy and almost no clear or amber. its awesome.

we are aiming for mostly cloudy, but sometimes it takes a bit of ambers for this to happen.

your plants have another 2-3 weeks. they are not swollen like they should be just yet.
