I want to know others opinions on all topics. It gives you a better perspective into things. Hiding from things is for children.
I've always learned more from people I disagree with, than from people who always agree with me. However... when people are utter and complete assholes, with no positive or useful information whatsoever to add to the discussion, it's just easier to kill file them and not be tempted to respond. ;)

I like discussions, but it's a one sided discussion in that section. :wall:

My life has been so much better since I've restricted talk of religion or politics in our house amongst the kids, grandkids, and very soon now, great grandkids. Talk/discuss whatever else you want, anywhere else you want, but not in this house...leave that shit at the door.

RIU, especially the Politics sub, is quite a bit different. :o

Just give it time. It's inevitable that the prices will come down.
That's the way it should and would work, if a free and natural (consensual trade) market actually existed.
As you implied. the more free a market is, the lower the prices will go.

The more government prohibition, prohibition lite ("legalization with gov't. strings attached), regulation, licensure and taxation the more expensive the weed.

People who advocate for the return of higher prices, perhaps unwittingly are engaging in wistful yearning for prohibition. No thanks.

Weed if unmolested by government would cost consumers very little, just like healthcare, roads and most other goods and services if they were untainted by the stench of gov't fingerprints.

The prices may, but not the taxes. Taxes only go up in this state. Never down.
I agree with both of those statements, not that you asked. but, if I were to want in on this industry as an investment I would target the soil arena. it sucks for the cultivators who endured all those years and now the economics flip. I’m in no position to do anything in this space but have a hobby but the ebitda seems to be in the support arena’s and the least competition seems to be in the soils (from my perspective).

For many it's cheaper to buy than grow. Lots of cheap weed in the dispensaries these days.
Kevin Jodrey shut down his farm due to all the back stock of weed in dispensaries. Taxes don't go to the farms so the herb can still be dirt cheap with a ton of taxes on top.
