Thinking of buying HLG

You could always mix together some good old fashion HID with some HLG panels. The QB120 v2 in the pic were like $25 each.
I run an old 250w 4000k MastercolorCMH with COBs and Boards for UV and IR. Run this since March and very happy plants with a little more vigor as well as better, more perfect trykes. Got some unused old bulbs to use up and a couple new 400w.

The cmh you're using for the uv and ir?
Yea, been considering the very same for a while now.

I have the two board V2 Respec and it rocks a 3x3. I don't feel like I'm lacking in PAR in any way.

One thing you could do is just buy the components from them. They kind three levels of offerings, the complete kits, the somewhat put together kits and then the individual boards with or without predrilled heat sinks. If you are somewhat handy I would suggest the latter and buying all the items separately, including the driver(s) which will come from a different vendor (mean well drivers are everywhere) and wire it all up yourself saving maybe 15% or more if the RIU 10% coupon is used.

Seriously price out all the stuff online, the savings are there.

Good luck!

IK this thread became old but I miswrote most the time for which light I could afford, it was 600rspec the whole time. So anyone reads this whole thing and gets confused in the future that's why

Should receive a refurbished Scorpion Diablo on Monday. It has been a pleasure working with HLG, they were very responsive and helpful, gave me great pricing but the warranty is only 1 year, due to it being refurbished but is something is going to go wrong, it should happen soon, so that doesn't bother me.
