Are these ready for harvest?
If not, how long am I looking at before harvest?
Post a whole bud picture showing the entire bud structure doesn’t have to be a macro pic just of decent quality and close enough to see the entire bud, swollen calyx and receded pistils.

What kind of smoke are you looking for?
Uplifting and energetic.
Or heavy couchlock?
Ffs really!!!

Look I’m gonna spell this out to you.

Harvesting early does not give you an energetic high and harvesting late does not give you a couchlock high.

Harvesting early gives you mild effects of what effect that plant will give you and they don’t last very long.

harvesting later gives more effects that plant should be giving you and lasts for longer.

It’s not Harvest early for sativa style energetic high and harvest Late for indica couchlock.

Harvesting time frames will not change a heavy indica into an energetic sativa.

no just no!

Harvesting at peak THC levels (when trichs turn cloudy) WILL give you a more uplift, no matter the strain.
Waiting until the THC turns to CBN (amber trichs) will give a heavier felling.
You should.avoid harvesting early (clear trichs) as the THC has not fully developed.

Sativas are sativas and indicas are indicas. If growing them different proved different effects.
Phenos and strain depth would be fucking pointless.

I'm quite educated on the matter tbh. I don't need some unknown dipshit that can't put his name on his article to tell me what what a horticultural degree, experience and lab testing has proven to me.

If I want an education I'll go somewhere else. Not that site. Anyone can make a website using a wordpress template in a couple hours and put any content on it they want. It doesn't mean the content is correct.

"This is the point at which most growers will harvest their buds, and is generally regarded as the standard for harvest. At this point, more than 50% of the white hairs of the bud should have turned dark. Using these two indicators in tandem, you can harvest at the perfect time."

Basically they're saying that when more than 50% of the pistils turn color it's peak harvest time. That's just nonsense. If you want to harvest your weed early then go ahead and go by that BAD information.

That's as bad as this chart people go by and harvest their weed early.

People that go by that bad information will harvest their weed early and then make a post asking why their weed isn't dense and smells like hay.

Too many people get caught up on just the trichomes. You see it all the time. Someone posting a picture of trichomes asking if they should harvest because they see a couple amber. When asked for a picture of the entire plant they show a plant that's covered in white pistils and obviously 3-4 weeks from being ready. Trichomes can change color for many reasons. The way people are overfeeding, spraying crap, and fondling their plants excessively are several reasons and have nothing to do with the plant being ready.

I don't even look at the trichomes. It's a waste of time as far as I'm concerned. I grow sativas and indicas and harvest both when they're ready which can be identified by just a visual look at the plant. I don't need a damn microscope to tell me when to harvest.
