Koolatron WC20, Pohl Schmidt dehu just as Hook did. Only difference is I went with a more expensive controller.

Welp, since you know they are accurate, then I'd say you're in danger of overdrying your flower.
For any others that are having weird occurrences with their hygrometers, it is definitely a good idea to actually test them using a test instead of just assuming they are accurate because they read the same or similar to another hygrometer or 2 that you have. Remember that if one is off just 3 or 4 points, that can be the difference between perfectly dried/cured flower and moldy situations. It can also mean that you think you have a great dried product and then you pull it out and it crumbles into dust. I posted the link on the last page with an easy way to test them.

It’s acting like a compressor based cooler, but I see in your description it says thermoelectric, at least it looks like that, I don’t read German. You can take a picture of the back of the cooler with the cover off just to verify, but if it’s thermoelectric something is not working like the koolatron, not sure what it could be myself.
Maby ITS because it IS a bigger one than yours 68 L. Maby ITS to strong.or because it IS Summer IT have to cool even more. In the room its 26 Celsius and in the cooler 16.

What's the issue with compressor based units, does cycle them on and off for such short periods cause the issue or something else? I have a sanyo office fridge, without freezer, that's laying around. Can't see much difference between a compressor based wine cooler vs small fridge if in fact they work.

They pull out humidity way too fast, this method needs a thermoelectric cooler. If you want to dry in a compressor based fridge it’s called the lotus cure, lots of info on that as well, but basically you put buds in pizza boxes or paper bags to keep them from loosing humidity too fast.

Has anyone been able to retrofit a ACI 69 pro controller to control the dehumidifier? I have the recommended cooler and dehumidifier, but I'm attempting to use an ACI controller so I can control my tents and fridge through the app. I am powering the controller with an external 10VDC supply.
The 4 wire cable is typically for communication, but I'm attempting to find a work-around using either a small relay (has to draw 3mA or less), a transistor (if I can find one that works) or using a control board from an ACI fan. Any and all thoughts are appreciated.

Has anyone considered using 2-3 dehumidifier Peltier modules inside the cooler ? More power? More speed? More better ?

Are they not the same modules just reversed to their hot side? I was wondering about getting six of the 50x50mm peltier modules and have three of them exposed on their cool side and the other three on their hot side. Then use the controller to control which ones are on.

Someone put two in, they could dry a bit faster if I recall but not much. I think they took the second one out, it pulls enough moisture out as is, the others just take up space so less room for buds.

I assume you're referring to a normal kitchen fridge which is frost free...it has a built in heater for the freezer and fridge part right?
I was talking about those little office fridges. The one I have has a metal plate in the back that gets ice on it when it gets really cold. Doesn't the Ice mean there's moisture there? I was wondering about a small deep freezer to.

From what I understand all the compressor based fridges large or small pull out humidity very quickly. I have never tried the lotus cure, so I would not be the best to answer.

There are several people in this thread that have used the ACI controller, both the 69 and 79. Some have detailed directions on their build if you search.
I use this controller, and have to use the ac infinity uis control plug for the 69 pro to turn the dehumidifier on and off as needed. I don't think you're gonna have any other choice but to go that route. Using the uis control plug also powers the 69 pro, so you don't have to bother with the 10v power supply. Hope this helps.

Yeah that is currently the situation I'm running into. I'm either essentially designing a control board for this thing or I'll have to use the UIS plug.
Side note - I can't figure out how to like posts or direct DM someone on this site lol
