Don't worry, I have not judged who you are. I've merely judged what you have said. I know it feels like pride to say that your faith in a creator is unshakable, but, as I pointed out, that's just an obscure way to say "my mind is not open to change." Having a closed mind shouldn't be a source of pride.I'm sorry you feel that way, your open mind should be wide enough to tolerate the likes of me, I know I was a little aggressive in my previous reply which I apologize for, I was charged negatively due to some arguments at the politics section, and I sensed sarcasm in your reply.
I really enjoy reading your posts and I try to understand it and I do not want any negative feelings between us.
I shall retreat to my hole and only when I'm asked I will answer, in the meantime it would be enough for me to read and give likes when I see fit.
Peace all
Neither should the goal be to have an open mind. What is wanted is a discerning mind. One that is capable of judging the truth value of claims and propositions rather than just accepting or rejecting them based on what feels right.
I am very judgmental of ideas and concepts, but I do not evaluate people by what they believe or how they defend those beliefs. When I decide whom I do or do not want to associate with, I judge people by their actions. I would gladly smoke a joint with you.
