I told the guy while he was shading this and that and all about with 12 different colors that he didn't have to do all that much...that I would have been just as happy if he had just colored it straight in with the colors..but he said I would like it and be glad he did it...I was til he told me it was $120...lol.
I have one on my leg I like just as much that the guy charged $80 because it was the shop minimum...he said it probably would have been $50 if he had his way...

Well there it is...I know that $120 was way too much for what I ended up with...but what do you say?

It's tiny, and took him no time at all...and yet $120...it was the last tattoo I got in a shop...I just felt like I had been ripped off...which I had...had to go back for him to touch up a few spots...have had to refill in a little on the letters myself...that is how I know it is damn hard to tattoo your own arm...

I have used them 2x...once for my husband and the other time for me...both times turned out alright...but nothing to write home about.

its the size of mans hand from wrist to tip of the middle finger. on my shoulder blade. paid 190 for it.... and to be honest, good tattoos cost good money, so I think i got a decent deal for it

I never said it was bad work.. and that is a good deal. I would have charged in that range as well.

The next tattoo I traded some weed for and it's terrible...I dont even look at it...luckily it's on my shoulder where your elephant is urca...nope mine is lower than that and more towards the middle of my back...either way, your elephant looks good.

It's farther up the other arm...

I enjoy the process of getting a tattoo more than I like the tattoo I end up with...so I am fine with mediocre or just strange tattoos...I like the needle and the buzzing...it just calms my soul

It's by the same guy that did the terrible one on my back...I really like my tigerlily though..even if his arms aren't proportionate and the same size and all that...lol.

Dont worry, I have some pretty shitty tatts on me as well.. when I was a teenager I let some pretty amateur dudes tatt me up when I was drunk... Right now im tatting my own arm.. I still have to finish my MJ piece im doing

Learned a hard lesson about the position of which you tattoo changing the appearance of the tattoo as a whole...
I have some stars on my inner thigh that look alright when I am sitting down, but when I stand up I guess my leg fat pulls the back 2 stars into some weirdo not star shape...I did those myself, so nobody but me to blame...but like I said I learned a lesson...
I know what I will do...when I die someone can use my skin as a tattoo mistake lesson for beginners...as in don't do this, or this will happen...lol.

I'm supposed to get something like this on the 18th but i'm super scared about it because i've seen some really terrible looking tree tattoos.

I also have to put a disclaimer for the assholes.. yes some of the lines are faded.. but I did it like 2 years ago and havent touched it up at all since then.. im also not done with it

One of my friends got one like that but it's amazing! She got the tree and then later she got some black birds but in...hers is more shaded as opposed to dark with the designs for the bark...had to explain, but awesome!

A tattoo apparently has to be pretty terrible for me to not like it.

Doing your own arm is tough...

Well see i'm super pale....so i'm not sure if the black contrast will look awesome or terrible lol.

I just love tattoos...
I don't like the ever popular "off the posters at the shop type skull and knife" combos
But other than those I like all tattoos...I like strange and whimsical tattoos more than the "I am the tough guy with tattoos" tattoos
