Hello and nice looking dogs.
I have a question. it is 71 Degrees in my grow room and 82 under the light. And I have the light 24" from the tops. today it got 86 under the light for about 3 hours.
Is there any thing I should do are is this ok.

under the light and the canopy r different. 86 at canopy means they are prob arond 90 in foliage, get some fans moving air around the room and the lights, along with adequet exhaust. if incoming air is @ 70 u should be fine with said equipment

I have a thermometer 24" under the light/hood the thermometer sits right next to my plants and it reads 82 degrees right now. And it is only 71 degrees in the room. But earlier today it got to 86 degrees next to my plants. I have 2 BIG moving fans and to small fans the air is moving like crazy. I just cant get it cooler under my 600w M/H. Keep in mind that these are 1 1/2" tail and 21 days old. When I started I had 5 white widows and now I am down to 3. (I lost 1 more last night)

A fan blowing directly up at the lights will displace hot air away from plants. Moving lights are not that much of a worry, as long as under control. My room has been up to 93 before I got a good exhaust system. If you get one it should displace the volume of air in the grow room in around a minute. I also rigged air vents from my homes ac to the room. Hope that helps...

Thanks I was not sure if I could put a fan blowing right up at the bulb. But now I know thanks I am going to move the fan now.

Rip... if your plants are 21 days and an inch or 2 tall there is something else wrong than temp. I think the little plants like the warmth along with some humidity kind of how new clones do. My WW was in plus 90 degree temps for the first 2 weeks until I got AC going. Almost sounds like your soil is to hot with nutes or over watering could be an issue. what do they look like when they dieing? do the leaves dry up? or turn yellow? what soil are using? does it have nutes already in it?

So here it is-i forceflowered it till today for about 1 week and a half-now im done, its a pain in the ass-2 times a day go to your plot, mess with those cover ups-i just hope it will continue the progress without me.
U can see i have topped it, lst id, supercropped some of the taller tops and so on...(journal has all the info)
Im growing on top of a moat, a "volcano).its also a lil experiment hoe the plant will do in such raised-bed so to say, And i have to say its doing just so so great and fine-roots can get more O2 and just enough water and food when i feed it on every 3-4 days.
Also, at the start i fed it once a week, now i have done a new feed schedule and do it twice a week.

Drop by in my journal to discuss more.:hump:

And some older pics from my lst structure and The Stem...

Big up to all Widow growers....

Love a monster, I have read and heard as well that if you induce flowering on an outdoor plant for up to 14 days, that the plant could in fact run its flowering course. Try and stick it out for another week, possibly more.

Almost forgot Iam running a 1000 watt HPS. Iam at 9 1/2 weeks flowing now and am starting to see amber but not to much yet. How long do you guys let it go most times. If I dont see lots of amber and pull sooner ill probably still pull her at 10 weeks that will be 2 weeks of flush. Does anyone let there ww go longer then 10 weeks?

Rasdan Im just reposting what New Growth said to answer you question

Pretty easy strain to grow, its one of those old school classics with solid genetics showing little to no phenotype variance. Most of the Dutch breeders will have good White Widow genetics or a variation on it. White Widow was one of the first Hybrid strains to come to Holland. It was killer smoke back then and still is today . . .

I like to let them go longer than 8 weeks, to me its a shame to call it White Widow at only 8 weeks. 9-10 weeks makes for a lot more resin, everything gets super frosty and glistens in the light.:weed:

I want a nice up buzz so I might pull her in 2 more days just to give her a 1 week 5 day flush other wise shed be harvested tomorow.
