What's up nerds just got done planting some rooted cuttings into dirt... got a question for you all... since I started working on getting better at cloning I cut the leaf tips off like you generally hear said to do... lately i've seen some vids of people cloning without taking the tips off (i think even saw some of sub's cuts this way maybe i'm confused
)... so anyway i didn't cut'em this time... i'm finding my success rate so far is about the same if not better (tho i'm still waiting on quite a few to root... i've already had 4/5 of one strain and 3/6 of another root well). I didn't have any extra yellowing, any wilting/moisture issues, and I now have a bunch of planted, rooted cuttings with all intact leaves that can grow and get bigger right away instead of stuck the same size. I'm thinking unless I have a lot more failures than expected i'm probably gonna stop cutting the tips off...
So whose in the cut the tips camp and who isn't?? sub?
PS -- cuts from super soil plants are the bomb... i never have issues with'em getting too yellow... usually when i just start to see the first lightening or yellowing at a tip it means the cut's rooted or on its way
in this case just a bunch of green cuts that could almost be confused for 2 week old seedlings...
