I'm running coco and a drain to waste system ... I've been thinking about dripper system set up on a timer and a res as the property I grow on is away from my place and every other day I'm back and forth with a res and timers I could leave it a week and so on ..... anyone have a good link for a good ec pen ? I am curious as I've never done it and seem to be getting good results but maybe if I brought e c in I could get better results ....

1st photo ... Mac 1 ( caps cut )
2nd photos ... Dante's inferno ( tiki cut )

day 23 f
Aye sounds like it saves you hassle since your running back n forth bud might be worth the switch up as for ec pens bluelabs are ok not the cheapest or dearest you can get cheaper ones but its yer luck with alot of them cheap ones

The bluelab ec truncheon is a solid piece of equipment I've been using one for 12/14 yrs and still working fine, I had another that also lasted for years but I lost that one to the authorities.

To keep the ec in the window I just test the run off, if it's more than 0.3ec above the input I lower ec, if it comes out more than 0.2 under I raise the ec, that seems to keep them looking healthy.

I'm using autopots they're totally hands off I only need to fill the reservoir weekly ±, I couldn't say they're better than dtw but I would say if there's a difference the dedication dtw requires doesn't justify the work involved.
@polska86 hey bud how are you finding the autopot yeilds in comparison to your dtw yeilds?

Im just about to chop my 2nd run in them and they are a bit shit this time.. down to me not the pots i think, first run never noticed any yeild number changes much but like like u say filling the res once a week compare to in and out watering and moving plants about.... both runs have been fine nutrient wise no salt built up or nothing

Don't know if anyone has tried to buy NON-PGR weed in the UK lately but in the North, it is nearly impossible. Hard as rock brown awful stuff, I don't know how people smoke it. They even have the gall to call it Cali Weed. £120 an oz, I wouldn't have it for free.
Sounds like all the Thai weed down south with me loads of it about the place ... rumours are there's a few boys are over there buying boxes for peanuts and sending them back and doubling up if not more stuff isn't good at all tho my mate reckons he's a Cali head won't smoke anything other than it not even homegrown

Lol yer mates aff his head then homegrown beats Cali bs assuming it's done right anyway id be surprised if it was from Thailand Laos is more likely traditionally speaking but it used to be better quality no pgr type stuff I ain't seen any of it in years mind you

Sounds nasty mate well up in Scotland where I am you do see some pgr stuff but not in as bad as a nick as your describing mind you plenty of decent stuff about too that's not full of poisonous chemicals more rural areas might be a different story the far far north it's more expensive regardless of quality for example

I got some seeds to try from the 12-12 seed company giveaway it's a nice selection of seeds they've sent.

They all sound promising tbh but I suspect the sour diesel will be up 1st :bigjoint:

They're a small company growing/breeding their own crosses they do sound promising.
Has anyone grown anything from the 12-12 seed Co?

DHG Tikki No. 1
It was at the edge of the grow but got 50w side light.

I just finished chopping it.
Smells of very sweet lemons, quite unique smell.
I've the other Tikki seed plant in early flower, No.2
I'm glad it's cloned. I'm definitely gonna grow it again.
Smoking the scissor has now lol

@Liamp1603 hey bud yes I'll be growing them from 12-12.
About 18 months ago ± I started growing seeds from 12-12 tbh it's the best move I made, I get short compact plants with 2/4+ oz in circa 50/55 days (mostly)

Being seedlings I can have them prepared in a clone tent sexed/vegged and ready to flower so day 1 under led they're already in flower mode that makes 6 crops a year doable.

Surely you can grow any strain under 12 on 12 off from seed?
Not knocking the 12 - 12 seed company in any way of course.
You can but not everything likes it or thrives so well on that schedule obviously with there stuff it will and respect man that tiki looks nice bud

Nice mate yeah plus going that way more crops means you can cram in more variety per year as well which is always nice

Yes you're right there @conor c about cramming them in mate, I'm doing some rough calculations here and I've grown circa 40 plants this year with lots of downtime previously that would've taken me around 18mth with my typical method.

With few tweaks and 11-13 2x plants in 1x pot works out imo it's a pheno hunting dream, that was my original purpose for trying 12-12 from seed but I've found many other benefits now I wouldn't grow new seeds any other way.
