The strangeness in the seed is that the leaves do not come out.

It's not even a week old, give it some time to do its thing
I just suspected that the seed was spoiled or diseased. do you think it will be ok?

Probably fine, I’ve had plenty of funky seedlings most have turned out fine

It's got leaves above ground and they are green and pointing out sideways. Not much else you can hope for at this point. Check back in 24-36 hours

@curious2garden had one like that a few months ago. She gave it weeks before finally ending it.
I actually gave it the freedom to end itself!
The OP's is different in that 1 side of the true leaves look like it might be viable. So it's worth giving it some time.

It’s a seedling - it’s doing seedling things - growing pains.
Hovering over it like an expecting father will make you do dumb things like adding Calmag and other crap.
It’s barely throwing a leaf set …. All it needs is little bit of water from time to time.
Let it acclimate to its container and medium without doing anything.
You will love it to death by dumping this and that on it.

Medium looks a bit dry. A problem to deal with doing seedlings in the final container.
Which might explain the necrotic opposing true leaf, sad

Frankly, I couldn't understand why his development was slow compared to the other. same cabin, same light, same water, same land. They sprouted on the same day. the other is moving fast but this one is still struggling to sprout its first leaves.keep us posted on your little lady.

Sometimes the first few sets come out a bit wonky, I'd wait til it has a few more pairs out before making any judgements
