I looked the numbers up. They are lower than most cannabis specific nutrients that come in the shiny bottles.

Have you looked at what's in the Performance Organics line? It's a solid off the shelf soil similar to Fox Farms.

I dont use either. Really I shouldnt have said anything. It's just my personal opinion.

I don't use it but it's not the same stuff as the standard MiracleGro. I mix my own soil for the most part. But I was curious about the Performance Organics so I did a little research to see what was in it.

I'll probably never use it as it's priced ridiculously high. I can get a bag of FFOF from the local shop for almost half the price. Looks like they're targeting their existing market hoping people using their standard soil will pay the extra cost for the Performance Organics.

Totally agree, I was surprised by these products. MG is obviously researching trends and what people are looking for in a fertilizer. It's a good thing, I'm not a fan of the company, but the reduction in heavy metals alone is a huge step in the right direction.

That's true and it will keep happening so long as we continue to support companies which manufacture, distribute, sell, use, and profit off of gylsophate. While it may be in organic crops for now, if the entire world was to shift to organic farming (or even simply shift to non-gmo and gylsophate-free farming practices), the stuff would be gone at from the groundwater and the environment at some point. As consumers we need to shift how our dollars are spent. Remember that everytime you eat a taco which has it's tortilla conventionally made, you are ultimately adding glysophate to the groundwater. I'm not a perfect person myself, but I do spend the extra money to buy organic tortillas.

100% agree, the worst contributors are GM corn and soy. Every year weeds adapt better to glyphosate, so of course, every year farmers dump more and more of it on their fields. The increase in quantity of glyphosate sprayed on American fields alone each year is astonishing. And if the fields are owned by a corporation, no one is ultimately responsible for this environmental disaster. I never eat GM corn or soy either.

I 100% agree with you. It's not just the glyphosate but all kinds of other toxins and pesticides that kill everything. Bee's, butterflies, birds, fish, etc... People just going down to Home Depot buying crap off the shelf without a care in the world regarding what's in it or what it's doing to the environment. Heck, I'm shocked at what many people spray on their cannabis plants.

It's no secret why the bees are declining, species are going extinct, and once fertile farmland is barren and requires yearly doses of chemical fertilizers in order to grow anything.

Too much greed in America to care. Some just want to make money and the others just want cheap food.

Nobody is going to do a damn thing until they hit the end of the road. The drought was the end of the road for many Almond farmers. I feel sorry for those that are losing their livelihood but a water intensive crop like almonds is not sustainable. They should have transitioned to other less water intensive crops years ago. Looks like California might turn into a 21st century dust bowl. They're sucking so much groundwater out to water water intensive crops and irrigate golf courses that the damn ground is sinking in some places more than a foot a year.

I post these links because many don't even realize what's going on. The word needs to get out. We need to change our ways and fast.

I grew up there in the 90s and it was amazing but there was a noticeable decline across the board around 2005.

the cost of living is absurd and then around that time the huge wildfires became a yearly thing instead of a once a decade thing. And they became much bigger and widespread.


I’m very grateful to have grown up there when I did but I got out ten years ago and don’t think I’d ever go back even if I had the money.

Ive been using Miracle Grow soil (nothing else)

My plants seem to be in the pre-flower stage, with very small white pistils and light green tops .

do you think that i should add any more nutrients like Tiger Bloom or Bio Bloom to make them start blooming?

ive just been putting more miracle grow potting soil on the top and its been working great.

i have some other plants as well, also on mircle grow. but these are my oldest & biggest (yes, a few in one pot )

Or should i proceed as is? Miracle Grow Soil has tons of nutrients, do i need to add more?

Thanks, i guess ill just proceed as i have been. i don't want to nutrient burn my plants accidently or something =) its just i think these plants are taking me the longest ever, but ive never grown photoperiods outdoors befoore. only autos with the same soil

Miracle Grow soil generally has slow-release pellets in it, which will provide nutes for up to 3-months.
