I saw on the snowhigh pages you were looking for something a bit more clear, clean and motivated... Jack Herer is a good one for that.

Thanks SF, I did try some Jack Herer lately, though I did love the crosses from this past year, the Candy Jack and Galactic Jack, among others.
I haven't grown any landrace yet, but just trying to get as close to growing "pure" weed as possible. Someone mentioned that the most "clean" friendly Mexican landrace out there is Highland Guerrero from what I've heard, though Snow said he won't have any until later in 2021 I believe.
Are there any other Mexican (or South American) landraced you'd recommend for a cleaner, friendlier, more functional high? I did want to try to grow something from Snow. I have some Acapulco Gold preservation projects seeds I was planning to grow this summer as well.

For me Snow has been the go-to guy for central and south americans... They take forever, which is probably why he won't have any until later... maybe someone else can chime in on for an alternative to Snow. GLG has something with half highland guerrero that might work until snow has more:

Just curious, do you know the difference between the 2016 and sweet berry Panama red?
Might pick up that strain... don’t got much room, was thinking of running the Zacatecas p2 x Michoacán, but seems people are more happy with the Panama Red, thinking of just getting that one and holding out for pure Michoacán and Highland Guerrero once Snow releases some

During the remodel I found these old pics from circa 73, This came into Austin in a large cheese wheel container. bought 1 pound and man was it great.
I give you 1972/73 arm length buds from Oaxaca!
My half of the pound.
Still have this triple beam scale!
Wow, I forgot how my Martin looked back then, it is showing it's use over the past 49 years, but still plays just a sweet!
This bud is around 19 inches.
It was this discovery that led my Buddy and I to take my VW type III and make a road trip to Oaxaca, we were in search of the magical arm length buds. Long story but we found what we were looking for, bought a kilo and made a lot of people happy. BTW, it was $28 a kilo.

Mexican Strain,not sure about where in Mexico(seeds from a friend 10 years ago while he went on a vacation to Cancun and bought some weed) crossed it with Godbud then bx to mexican,it's early outdoors, 2nd week of October in Ontario Canada.

Oaxacan weed was plentiful until we stopped buying brown weed. I would really like to try it in a non-compressed and not brown state of being! I remember it tasted better than most brick weed. I may have to track down some Oaxacan, for a little wake and bake flashback!!!

Some of that Mexican brick from the old days was pretty good,I can imagine how good it might have been handled correctly tended to,unseeded, cured etc there were probably the odd males mixed in too.

When I bought that Oaxacan in Austin in 72' it was loosely pack in a round cheese container maybe 18" diameter. It was plenty seedy so yes if handled to todays standards it would have been much better.
The wheel was probably a Kilo's worth. I bought a pound and it was about a half of the container.

A very good description of the late '70s Oaxacan. It was 85% seed and stem. What flower material you could get out of it was superior stuff.

It was one of those strains that only showed up in the midwest, every so often. It was a step up from the regular Mexican brick weed and maybe about $5 more per "lid" (lol!)
, so we bought it when it was around. The two thing that made this strain stand out, were the DARK brown and OILY seeds. I remember saving those seeds in my jar and they always stood apart from the others -easy to pick them out of a pile of seeds. And the other thing was the light "neon"...."uranium" green leafy buds. I think the Oaxacan had a unique pigmentation that favored the xanthophyll content....
