The NRA

Fannie and Freddie are GSE's, just like the Post Office is a GSE
Government sponsored entity
Of course now they are just pretty much government agencies.

of course they are both GSEs, but fannie and freddie were publicly traded. they got some government dollars and government oversight, but a lot of publicly traded enterprises do.

being publicly traded kind of sets them apart from actual governmental organizations, like the department of defense.

isn't the post office publicly traded? kinda hard to categorize them if they are, since they are also *in the constitution.

You would be amazed at how many companies aren't publicly traded, you can be a corporation and never have to publicly issue stock, it can all be private issue.

Just a little knowledge for ya.

duh. hence why IPOs are a big deal.

No the reason Fannie and Freddie were GSE because of financial backing from our government. A little oversight? haha Like an appointed government group? The same one that told Bush and Bush told congress that fannie and freddie are getting out of hand and needs to be overhauled?

The federal takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac refers to the placing into conservatorship of government sponsored enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Macby the U.S. Treasury in September 2008. It was one of the financial events among many in the ongoing subprime mortgage crisis.
On September 6, 2008, the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), James B. Lockhart III, announced his decision to place two Government sponsored enterprises (GSEs), Fannie Mae (Federal National Mortgage Association) and Freddie Mac (Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation), into conservatorship run by the FHFA.[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP][SUP][3]

James B. Lockhart III assumed the position of Vice Chairman of WL Ross & Co. LLC in September 2009. WL Ross manages $9 billion of private equity investments, a hedge fund and a Mortgage Recovery Fund. It is a subsidiary of Invesco, a Fortune 500 investment management firm.[SUP][1][/SUP] As Vice Chairman, Lockhart coordinates WL Ross’ investments in financial services firms and mortgages.

For the prior 7½ years, he served in the US Government in a series of Presidential-appointed, Senate-confirmed positions. He was the Director (CEO) and Chairman of the Oversight Board of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), the regulator of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the 12 Federal Home Loan Banks. He assumed that position with the signing of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act on July 30, 2008. He was the Director of the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO), which is now part of FHFA. He was nominated to that position by President George W. Bush, a friend of his from prep school, college and business school,[SUP][2][/SUP] and confirmed by the United States Senate in June 2006.

On May 1, 2013, President Barack Obama nominated Watt as the next head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, which among other agencies, administers or has oversight for the FHA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac.[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2]

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) is an independent federal agency created as the successor regulatory agency resulting from the statutory merger of the Federal Housing Finance Board (FHFB), the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO), and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development government-sponsored enterprise mission team,[SUP][1][/SUP] absorbing the powers and regulatory authority of both entities, with expanded legal and regulatory authority, including the ability to place government sponsored enterprises (GSEs) into receivership or conservatorship.[SUP][2][/SUP][SUP][3][/SUP][SUP][4][/SUP]
In its role as regulator, it regulates Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the 12 Federal Home Loan Banks (FHLBanks, or FHLBank System).

A little oversight huh? Choking on the koolaid once again Bucky.

so it seems? wishful thinking. If it could ever have passed, the last vote was the time to do it. After thirty days, the public loses interest and the issue is pushed to the back burner, to be forgotten. At least until another massacre occurs.

I think you understand it quite well. ( never said you didn't) Without the Constitution all manner of shit can take place. That is including instant democracy. A return to the Crown, all guns confiscated.

But, anything that doesn't go the way of the Royalists, Oh! it's been jacked by the NRA and the gun nut culture. All America wants this. OK. And all Americans of age get to vote for our Congress....hmmm.....the system is the problem.

We must get rid of the system. Re-write. NO. Denied.

If 1/2 the people +1 in 3/4s of the States want guns banned they will be banned. These other effort are just set ups for that. I will be fine with that....even already dead.

But, we never get an answer about the political tools these surveys are. We only get answers around some mob democracy we don't have. We never question the idea of a fruit cake that has already been identified given guns by the Mother. What in the chilly hell can stop that?

Not background checks. It hasn't stopped me getting them, I found them on the road. And about 100 million other guns that are owned can still be given to a known mental defective. Tough luck.

Lucky us with Constitutional guarantees.
Those make even US citizens jealous, those Rights, that they even have themselves.

Doer were you the person talking about the plastic guns the other day? Was in the news yesterday that a fully functional one was made and tested and the plans will be free on the internet. All you need is a 2200dollar plastic printer currently available and you can make as many as you want. The guy is already talking about making lower receivers (only part regulated by government) for ar15s. I find it ironic that we have been joking about this and now here we are an untraceable gun free to the public. I guess we can regulate plastic.

No, but someone told me about it. I know about the 3D printers. A motor friend in France has one and he can print headlight and speedo housings for us forum mates. The break though is the printing material. It's gone from thin layers of flour, to very hard, and special ABS plastic.

So, yes. It can be done. Ammo and weapons can be made from scratch to protect the Consitition. We can download weapon files and the militia have those and the underground machine shops and the shadow State govts.

Take a page from the Yellow man of Nam. As soon as you can get someone to fight back, you can have their weapons. If you can get the govt to start to position Sarin and we can get that too, like in Syria.

And its totally legal as long as you do not try and transfer the weapon to anyone.

Yes but unlike most libtards I doubt a law will stop this when anyone could have printed it. Or a simple "novelty use only" slapped on the side. Scratch that a lower receiver has already been made and has had 200 rounds fired through it. I think I am going to order one for molds it would be incredibly useful for classic car parts.

OH shit it already has the libtards up in arms and they're already drafting bills with lies of course saying they can pass through metal detectors but the firing pin is metal.

Metal Detectors? Wouldn't the Rape Scan machines see them? Wouldn't a frisky TSA agent feel it when he grabs your ball sack?

Well, I used to could have an eight ball of ganga tapped behind my balls.

Now, the Nekid-tizer, would ream me a new one these days.

Molds! I hadn't thought of that. Print the mold, not the plug. I am a very experience mold maker, built a prototype fiberglass airplane, all that.

What we could have done with a small mold printer! Wouldn't have to start with clay and save days.

How do you model? Wax? I make an oil clay, modeled plug and take a rubber mold, usually, Make a structure for the rubber with plaster, wood and jute.

That is all waste to pull a hard plug form the rubber, to make a production mold.

How do you moderns do it?

Pay someone from China to produce one cheaply?

the stock market has its own federal agency overseeing it too, it's called the SEC.

what's your point?

are you ever gonna tell me what the ticker symbol for the department of health and human services is?

or do i have to wait all day for you to help your daddy install a greese trap for some more amusement from you?

Pay someone from China to produce one cheaply?

Well, one what? :) I am attempting to modify my motorcycle. It is a part that could be printed.

But, only needing one, am I going to the Chinese? No. Not until I need 100, like the FlyaSalt.

Yeah, that's it. A toy-like, spring loaded shotgun blasting salt at flies. I want one. Out of stock.

IAC, for my bike part I began as described and molded it with high temp epoxy.

What the fuck are you talking about? You're the only idiot on this forum ranting that fannie and freddie are not GSE's and not regulated by the US government. Still waiting for you to prove they're not GSE's
