I've built two, even scrounged up a couple 600R heatsinks.


this light was just tossed together till I get my new drivers and a junction box.

I just finished a grow under the first one

And yes they are worth it! plants finished almost 5 days quicker than ever! Bud dried are so dense they feel like they need a nutcracker to bust them down. And this was just a halfassed SOG I threw together. I'm goning to put a 30 gallon pot under it next grow and plant either a Wedding Cake or Blueberry Headband.

I just took down my pre-production QB 304s when I put up the Diablo light. Almost hated to do it, the 304s have been dam good! But I'm getting twice the light at the same power level, so I had to. I'm getting about 1100 PPFD at 400 watts. I don't run CO2 so my lighting is now maxed out....... on just 400 watts! The old promise of LED growing lighting is finally here.

photo tent, And the Wedding Cake. The photoperiod tent has to the left Mazar XL autos that didn't, center front is Blueberry Headband, behinf the BH is the Wedding Cake, to the right are 2 Black Ducks. All loving my 400 watt Diablo light!

I'm about to make my first run using the Diablo. Never flowered under LED before so I will keep the watts low at first. Around 420 to 450. I use the 550 Bspecs @ 400 watts in veg so the transfer should not be a problem from that light to the Diablo. Another 4 or 5 days and I will install it :eyesmoke:

WTF are you talking about?
It's ~300-700$ for a sphere and/or gonio test presented in horticulture metrics(i.e. PPF) from Light Laboratories. Basic or with IES files.

So the guy going around saying there are dozens of side by sides showing HPS losing every time to HLG but then can't even show or cite 1 single SBS is the HLG rep now?...you don't say...

The guy who says its $10,000 to test a light like HLG does when it in fact it's less than $500...is the HLG rep?...you don't say...

There are many side by side threads out there. It's not my job to find them for you. I errored on the light test statement and said so. I'm human, I make mistakes. I own up to them. Glad you enjoy your HPS lights!
