Those are some really depressing statistics. The top 34 are only in the americas right? And we are the only "1st world" country and up there more than once.

So this elderly women gets pulled over. Cop walks up to the car and asked for license and registration. As the elderly women was flipping through her billfold the officer noticed a concealed weapons permit. The cop tells the the women he seen a ccw permit and asked "do you have any guns"? The elderly women replied "yes I do. I have a 9mm in the glove box, a 44 magnum under the seat and a 38 hammerless snub nose in my purse". The police officer asked, "what the hell are you so afraid of"? The elderly women says "not a damn thing".
