Yepp! I would bet the same. Could be genetic but I feel it somehow..

I really like to take my clones when I switch seed based plants to flowering mode. There are always a few small shoots to lollipop in the lower area and these are perfect siuted to root them. The lowest twigs always root the fastest cause they have almost no auxin stored.
This way you don't need mother plants but you are forced to grow the same strains until you start with new strains. You could veg and meanline them parallel to the plants in the flowering tent and as soon as these are ready you can put the clones in the flowering tent, switch to 12/12 and take a bunch of new clones.
The flowering tent would run all the time in the best case but you need a 2nd tent to veg the new clones at the same time.
Especially when you've found a strain worth it it makes sense. The older the genetic gets the better the quality.
Is there no dispensery where you can buy rooted clones?
You could also order them and they'll send them as express package.
But don't ask for a specific strain, ask them for their oldest and most potent genetic. You have seen @Moflow 's sensi star... It's really worth it!
If I could buy them legally here I would always take clones. It saves you a lot of time especially with 3 flowering tents!
Strains like GSC, GG#4 or bruce banner should get really awesome with the time and most cutting sellers keep their motherplants for a long time. Simply try it out with one of your next grows.
Also the method above saves you a lot of time cause you would always have a filled flowering tent and the cuttings can grow big in parallel.

I can barely make out the multiple structures per location, but the multiple itself signals boy junk..pretty sure back is boy; front left, not yet there...i’ll confirm in a day or two.

But it’s certain what the front right plant is carrying...and funny sh!t, this one’s the mutant!

Gettin prepped for next steps....cleaning and sanitizing cloner....washed res and top with scrubbie, warm water, and dishsoap.....rinsed....refilled with water added a little bleach, and ran pump for 1/2 hour...emptied, refilled with plain water, pumped for 1/2 hour, emptied and repeated...rinsed & air dried....

Looks like crazy good coverage

You're a legend my Oregan fire starter, my cloning sucks and I have been thinking about building a mini aero cloner to stop me building new bloody lights all the time>:(

Watching with much interest in this section cuzzy
Lots of diff size/type containers, but all use a submersible pump, piping/pvc, 360 degree misters...

Google “ez-cloner build”.

I’ll take and prepare cuttings in next few days...

I usually get 100% roots in about 10 days, this is the way to make rooted cuttings..

LMFAO! That's life! 2 males out of three! And of course the right one is a female, lol!

After a few mLs of pH down, holding steady at 6.0, air temp 77, no leaks...added garden friendly fungicide (more concentrated hydroguard bacteria)...no nutes...

Temperatures, mate. And ensuring whatever cloning medium you use does not get too wet or waterlogged; ie, moist, but with enough air/oxygen to promote root growth. Cloning can be slow going in winter if you don't have a heat pad or warm cloning chamber.

My media is really wet: water!

fortunately it is full of molecular oxygen, right temp 68-72F, right pH 6.0ish, w beneficial bacteria, and no nutes (no roots, no nutes)...

Lighting: about 50 ppfd

Humidity dome

Air temp mid- to upper-70s F

Basic aerocloner cutting method:
1. Have a glass of water, scissors, razor blade, rooting hormone gel and/or powder, and sanitized neoprene collars,

2. Pick your laterals on mama, you want at least one pair of leaves and the growing tip plus 3-4” of stem per cutting,

3. Cut them off, stick in glass of water immediately, to minimize uptake of air bubbles,

4. Take a cutting out of water; working rapidly, cut off all leaves except top pair and growing tip, make a 45 degree cut on bottom of stem with razor, dip bottom 1/2-1” in rooting hormone(s), insert in neoprene collar w at least 2” of stem under neoprene collar, insert in lid of running cloner, cut off 1/4-1/2 of tips of remaining leaf pair (don’t cut anything on the growing tip), repeat.

5. Put on your humidity dome

6. Smoke some dope; start the 10-day countdown clock; keep water, air, lights in range.

7. When you have a bunch of root tips on cutting, transplant to your favorite media.

8. Post pics in your journal; and pat yourself on the back, for a job well done.

LOL! Your media is actually air - the mister provides the moisture while the stems hang free.

And if I was going to use rooting hormones in an aero cloner, I'd just add it straight to the water as the misters will wash it off the stems anyway.

But you don't really need hormones. When I run out of cloning gel, I just use honey on my clones. It has hydrogen peroxide to keep them sterile, and a bit of sugar for the roots when they grow. But I clone in peat pots, because I grow in coco.
