I'm also in the "less moderation is more" camp, so I wouldn't want to see RIU turn into ICMag - that's why I'm here, because we have a lot more freedoms than other sites. Over-moderation is far worse than the alternative, IMO. I guess @Or_Gro just doesn't see bitch-slapping trolls as fun any more

I saw the finish over at another place and i can resume it for you: amazing grow, 3 sides: 288s + red and uv sub, qb96 and some far red and uv, highlights uv version. All setups pretty much maxed out, 8 boards each, spectrum was tuned to be fairly similar between setups, ppfd 1050. This may have changed slightly though as highlight side got quite a bit more sometimes due to stretch. Plants seem to love it up to 1500 ppfd iirc with no signs unhappiness. Results were all firmly in the same ballpark, no extra pounds anywhere, especially when counting top bud plus lowers + trim. But highlights was a bit ahead in top bud to small bud ratio, a bit faster and clearly better looking/bag appeal, sooner purpling up and chunkier bud. The other 2 tents went up to almost a week more, and had a few more grams on them but to most of us who saw it it was pretty much a dead race on the weights, but the over all grow and product was a highlight win:
- nicer product or maybe lets say nicer finish
- faster finish
- not sure about the watts but i think it was slightly less on the highlights, not running any extra reds or uv saves a bit of power.
- Generally trouble free plants: they just looked quite a bit happier all the way thru even if at some times they were in bleaching intensities. This could also be due to having a kick ass hydro setup and really mature plants. But i was surprised.
- all in one spectrum.
- im caveating this last point as iirc the control grow wasnt at the same time and might have been under slightly different conditions; not sure if i remember where og used infrared ceramics and where not but here we go: the 3 grows all scored high in thc testing, equally if uv (b!) was added as with the small amount of violet/N-UVA from the highlights spectrum, however same strain gave less thc in a no uv at all condition.
This is what i remember, @Prawn Connery could maybe fill in some blanks
Also: OG bailed on the other place aswell after some arguing but he was kind enough to follow thru with results.
And yes it was pretty epic! Made me wanna check my phone everyday

Bout 3, 4 with small buds and trim. Bout, but not quite, i think g/w came in about 1.8 or so, in a very high ppfd grow, which is allways harder than low ppfd.
