Oh, I don't wanna give much "advice" on coco, because I don't have that much experience with it.
But I'll never use coco and not assume that it doesn't have fungus gnats or something else (springtails maybe).
I'd get some wettable sulfur, if I were you though, asap. And a quality surfactant too; eg: castile soap, yucca, etc., for application

I know you're using the bleed off valve method, just in case you thought I wasn't sure. I only shared that video because it sounds like he describes the exact reason the bleed off valve is needed, so I thought it was interesting and worth sharing for anyone who might browse this thread.

I dunno why the way that guy talks grates on my nerves. Lol.

I like Blue lab I have one too but it's a couple years old now. But I really like the Alfreds meters because I think they settle on a PH number pretty quickly compared to the blue lab. Plus they are only $55 so easy to replace after a while. Although I've been eyeing that Amazon deal it's a great price. I just don't wanna shell out for it right now. Haha

Related dream***: Would love to figure out an even cheaper raspberry Pi/ ph probe deal. Hopefully someone smarter than me figures it out. Would love to be able to see the Ph and PPM/EC on each res over wifi.

Been so lazy lately. Did some air distribution HVAC ducting. Now to hang the dehumidifier so I can properly deal with the ladies only they not happy looks like cal and mag uhhh

cannabis mechanical on Instagram was my inspiration for the ducting. These 12" fans now pull from intron of the mini split snd shove air through a 26ft pipe distribution every 2ft out of a 2" hole. Pretty good air pressure can be felt about 4ft away from the openings. It really narrowed the AC set temperature to the room measured temps.

Ya buddy they just move the air from in front of the mini split and dump it along the room evenly.

I killed off most of my ladies I just had way too much going on. I started a shit ton of seedlings a few days ago. Plus getting some clones So I can fire up another cycle soon. I'll put up some pics. Just got the room running on two lights right now.

one interesting thing is I gotta turn the lights up to 65% with just two lights on to get the same par as having all 6 lights on at 38ish percent.

You are too kind I made lots of mistakes but hope to keep getting better. I think I have the room conditions dialled a little better now. So just need to restock my nursery and start again.

Dont be so hard on yaself mate.

Still working on getting my EC PH and light intensity matched. I keep stressing my girls out but I think we are through the worst of my learning curve lol.


I hope to start flowering soon once these girls are a little healthier.
Got some diff strains for this run.

Once you get shit dialled in, that room will produce big time.

Finalized my pump location so I could move my res in and out to refill and still have enough slack in the lines etc. Gonna spray paint the lids black.



big hole is for the pump return line/ and valve is under the cover spitting excess pressure back into the res. Small hole is for the pump suction mine.


the res cover is cut in two so the front section can come off for me to refill the res and check the PH then shove it back under the table.

Repotted some seedlings.
