Dunno if you are aware but my lights are 750W ea. 6600+ diodes per light. So not a fair comparison.I need to be at 20” to hit those numbers. Guess I should’ve went with better lights
Next time you should order from a Canadian made builder.

Honestly I don't expect to even hit 10# for the whole room. My yield will be embarassing for most "real growers". And prob more than half will be made into concentrate./edibles.Damn so that 100 extra w per light really is a show stopper I guess

This is therapeutic for me so I enjoy everything about it from making lights to pruning the girls. So as long as I get a couple lbs of really nice chunky buds to smoke I'll be quite pleased. No Guinness records required. Lol.
the 100W yes makes a big diff. Especially because I am running nominal current so the diodes ain't even flexin yet.
I went and measured my buddies 12 light gavita room and he has very similar PPFD. But notice how much more IR he has. Which DOES contribute to growth.

Gonna defoliate one more time today and tomorrow and put the last layers of trellis on. It's crazy the girls are gaining like 2-3" in height at a day.

Busy Sunday. Got to work on one of my secret projects. Lol. So I report used the steel frame from some IBC totes and plastic pallets, along with some casters to creat a rolling table for my plants. You've seen these in my journal.
This weekend I cut up the rest of the totes to create 40"x48" flood trays.
Each tote cost me $ CAD I got them used food grade totes. they've already provided me the frame for the table. And now I am trying to use the liner as a drip tray.
Probably not this coming flower cycle. But next one. 'll try to switch to hydro phonics if I can get this to cheap I tray to work for me. I want to do a top feed setup out of the res. And will decide if I DTW or recirculate in the future.
so the existing table
look like this
27 Gal Homedepot tote fits just under so I can slide it out to top up and mix nutes. I'll cut that steel out of the way.
cut up a bunch of the plastic totes into trays

thanks very much man. The IBC totes are great because they have to w same foot print as a pallet 40x48. Which is the same footprint as my lights as well.
I screwed them over top of the stiffening rib on the pallet
one thing that dictates height of the table for me was the width of the Door. Didn't want to have to disassemble a turning to get it in or out of the grow room.

Found two plants that were showing their Bruce Jenner pheno. Both zookies cross and platinum Kush breath #2 so I get to kill off a mom. I knew the zookies ones would be prone to herm.

Slowly working away at defoliated and taking off scrag. Had to remove a few plants already as they were getting crowded out by more aggressive girls. Next round will veg less and hit much shorter. And run lower numbers I think.

Day 21 update. We entering week 4 of flower now
Defoliation complete. Took hours. Will def run lower plant # since I think I can still veg to right size to fill the space

Hey thank you sir! Ya it's quite a few lol. It takes me 30 mins to 45 minutes to mix nutes and water each day. Then thing like defoliation take around 20h each time. So usually end up pounding things out on weekends when they need extra time. Like cutting clones etc.

I removed around 10 plants during defoliation since they were totaly light deprived.

So I think the girls should be done stretching. Or near done. Even if they aren't a it's ok I got more room on my lights to go up
so I played some musical chairs and put all the shorties together on trays. And tall girls together so the canopy is much more even than it was before.
Some girls got chopped down to not much. Lol. So I'll be running a few less girls next time.
everything was pre drilled already. Just reassembling the carts
after I modified the two carts to support the trays I moved everyone around.
