had the girls out this morning to compact the soil in the bags and give them a feed, so decided to go with the baby bio, gave then all a pint of feed and set the lights to about 2 or 3 inchs above and went on my merry way....

came home about 4 hours later and just said i`d have a check on them and they have grown up into the lights, one burned a couple of leaves, the rest were just about to touch, so re-set the lights... and had a good look at them, they have gotten bushier along the stem aswell, so good stuff i`m well happy...

also got some cable and fittings and now have one set ready for bulbs i`m going to take the hood out now and stick it in and re wire the existing lights the same so should have the 4 big 6500k and 2 2700k for now but i`ll stick in another 2 tomorrow so 4 of each, until the big cfl`s arrive....

right so, the homemade hood is re-done, now has the six bulbs in and two more tomorrow , 4 6500k 36w and 2 2700k 20w, two more prob 6500k 20w in there i`d say
so 224w in all, could nearly let them go under that till finish should produce decent yeild alone...

pic`s up when the lights come on in the morning...

im new to growing but for bloom ill be using canna pk14 & canna boost

same here rory, and first time to use bloom nutes so its all new to me, the canna is hard to get where i`m from, (think village, think pub, shop, post office.. there all in the one building here if you get me..hahahah), ah i`ll see what i can find thanks dude..

so lights on this morning and glad to report the hood didn`t fall down tho i really may put it on a chain, the ecb didn`t false trip with the cfl flutter as i lowered the fuse to a 5a in the plugs, so have 8 lights in now instead of the 4, happy days...

the light spectrum from the bulb, you know how it says cool white, daylight, warm white etc on the bx, thats the spectrum of light from the bulb...

so 6500k or kelvin is for veg and 2700k for flower

look at pic 4 dave you can see theres 4 blue kinda bulbs there daylight 6500k, then theres 2 yellow looking ones in middle there the warm white 2700k, if you look close you can see theres two more fittings there so there`ll be 4 each later...

Oh and those plants are looking lovely and lush. You must be treating them well. Wish my OG kush was looking half as well.
