When using a cool tube do you have 2 fans pulling in air and exhausting it from the tube or just 1 fan for exhausting.?
and do you need to have air venting in the box/tent like if you didnt have a cool tube.?
For the moment I run air through my carbon filter, through ducting to the cooltube, then out to the fan just outside the tent. I use passive intakes...I know this is really inefficient, but one of my tents doesn't have side ports, so I can't daisy chain my two cooltubes on their own fan sadly.

Harrekin- i got my coco from seamus-growshop.com. its "RHP" coco which means its good to go, no need for pre-washing. they have specialist nutes for coco and thats all i can tell you about it.

Do you feed every watering? Do they need watering/feeding every day? Twice a day? Just small practical questions.

Someone answer me a few questions who uses Coco?

How often do you water, is it like soil kind of schedule?

Is it hand watering you do?

How often are nutes applied?

Do you need to pre-wash Coco?

Cheers lads.
When the plants are small you can water every 4-5 days if you want. Or you can water every 5 minutes. It doesn't matter how much water you put in, it is impossible to overwater in coco. In flower you need to feed everyday. Coco dries out way faster than soil, and when it gets dry the salt buildup is disgusting and your EC will shoot through the roof, so not good.

I handwater, but you can setup drippers if you want.

You must feed with nutes every watering. If you give it just water, you will destroy the PH buffers and microlife you built up and your plants will hate you.

If you buy the dried brick stuff you need to wash it a good bit as it can be packed with salt. The bagged moist stuff is usually ok to use straight out of the bag, but I rinse a few gallons through it first before I use it just to be sure.

so turns out the splitters are in the cataloge they have in the shop but can`t be sold in ireland.............what a crock...

on the other hand tho i ordered 4 more of the 11 inch 6500k 36w cfls and 4 of the biggest cfls i have ever seen, there 360 actual watt 2700k spiral but there massive, must be at least 12inchs high and 5 inchs round...massive i tell you..

there to hang down in the flower room for lower foliage... well 2 of them the other 2 are for the veg press for that overall spectrum of light not all 6500k

also have been researching the wireing and seems i can wire 2 bulbs to one socket useing a lower amp fuse say a 5a as useing a 13a will cause false trips on the ecb from the cfl flutter when they start as there not meant to be on a plug ecb!! all new to me but i`ll give it a go..

bulbs won`t be here for least a week so no pics till then...

girls had a good day think they`ve grown an inch, well some of them some seem to be just chillin in there....

can`t smell a thing with the flu unfortunatly but i bet they stink..
