Whats the story niallo, welcome!

Yea the b.c climet is kinda like ours alright but we get a hell of alot more rain over here, have a snoop around the dutch passion website they have a bundle of outdoor strains but personly i would go with there hollands hope(very mold resistant) and friesan dew( looks fantastic).

Also in the nirvana on caple st you can pick up 5 grow XXX fem beans for 25 quid. Ya cant go wrong there, i tryd there super skunk last year outdoor and it done fairly well.

ye i goona have to go with something like them strains i wouldnt wanna do a load of plants and the mold to fuck every thing up...do them strains grow big...what was yor yeild like of the skunk and how was the smoke....i dont really no much about cross breeding what would you say would happen if i crossed a auto with 1 of them plants i some wouldnt auto flower but its out doors any way...i wanna breed something good for the outdoors plus i would get loads of seeds which is a big plus....i plan on puting seeds in the ground and not pots...

if you want to start seeds in the ground i will warn you that certain insects come alive during planting season and will eat the fuck out of most of your seeds when they crack, but that depands on soil type and the area but watch out.
i dont know much about breeding but i crosed a danish skunk with an early pearl and an early pearl with a random indica, got loads of seeds and im dyin to get them goin for another outside grow, except this time the strains are MINE!(evil laugh here)
the smoke is usually great from outdoor even if its rainy but thats mostly down to genetics. if the buds get around 80% or more of the days' sunlight during flowering then youl be fairly happy with the buds "bag appeal" other wise they tend to finnish up fluffly and airy, not the like solid nugs you might be used to seeing from indoor harvests, never the less it is still a far superior quality compared to commercial street weed.

I think I'll start my seeds in the normal way and let them grow in fibre pots that can easily be transplanted in to the ground when ready.
Might even start the auto-flowering seeds tonight so as I will have plenty of seeds ready for early summer..

i was gonna start them in cups or pots for the first 2 weeks then put them in the ground..i goona get the seeds the week end with a bit of luck...i never breed seeds b4 i reck its handy enough is it just let the plants grow 2 getter really isnt it.....if i put autos out doors they should still be done in the 9 or 10 weeks i might just go with autos i would be happy enough with a half oz a plant if they gave that out side i would just plant loads and loads of them hahaha

Thats the idea.. Plant loads and then kill the males as they grow, unless you want more seeds..!!

if your after a load of seeds and, as much if not more, smoke keep your seed plantation in a different loacation from your desired female plantation, pickin seeds out of buds or hearin your joint 'pop' for the duration of smokin the harvest is a bit of a pain
you only need 4 or 5 for a seeded crop so its not a huge job, unlike your smokin crop

Yeah they were put in to germination last night, they are currently in the hot press, wrapped in wet tissue and the placed in a air tight bag, would say they'll be cracked by the time i get home from work later this evening..

Seen as Im snap happy with the camerea, I am going to do a couple of grow journasl.. One indoor and one out door.. should be fun..
The very first grow I made the mistake of not spotting a male in time and now have hundreds of seeds, was gutted pulling the seeds out as there was much bud left to smoke..

It was a classic case of not doing my home wrok and just planting.. Didn't help that I left my light on 24/0 for 2 weeks solid whilst I headed to spain..
Fuckers ended up 6ft tall with a 250w bulb...!!
I look back now and see how many things I was doing wrong... poor plants..!!
Least they give a hundreds of chances to rectify it all..

Right off to poxie work..

This will be another grow at some stage.

I got these seeds from Pick and Mix seeds..

I've grown these last year..

These seeds are from some Thai a mate bought... Things are like coffee beans..!! Haven't a clue when these will be tried.

She was the purple widow.. Have 2 seeds left of it...
Was a lovely taste off her a nice giggly, happy buzz, but if you weren't to careful would have you bollox'd and stuck to a chair somewhere..
It's suppose to be grown outdoors only.. Think it done fine inside, besides a slight over feed..

Haven't a clue when I'll get round to planting the last couple of seeds..

thats easily some of the nicest lookin bud on the island jay. good work, did you top it?was the yield satisfactory?

i went away for two weeks just there and my plant minder never turned my plants daily which sorta fucked me over cos theyre in the last 3 weeks, i think i flowered them too early aswell, trying to achieve lollypop style results for 4 differnt strains didnt work out, the white shark took best while the others im dissappointed with, i think a good lollypoping strain is mainy down to genetics. power plant and white shark worked well for me, cheese and lemon skunk look a bit shy on yield and the white rhino isnt that white at all, yet. il throw some pics up 2mro eve.

Have you looked at Uncle beds fimming technique.. he seems to get 4 large colas from the one plant..

I've turned up my fans in the grow room to lower humidy and now the crop is flying along..
Just wish cold weather would f*ck off...!!

Just heard on the news that a large grow has been busted in Wicklow...
Gutted... Guards seem to be busting a good few now..
Anyone know how they get to know of peoples grows..??

i know of a case where a guy was livin in a flat with about a dozen reptiles and the ESB notified the Gards based on his energy consumption for the heat lamps for the critters
the gards had a warrent, saw all the pets and left....
you can get a separate ESB meter but you have to have a sepparate "dwelling" or somethin on the premisis.
id say anythin over 1000Watts is a bit risky, depending on the size of your abode.

I heard of that on phantom fm there this morn, 400 plus bitches found in wicklow. Holy shiznit lads but they were sayn it was a quarter of a mill worth of grass been turnrd over every two months. Id like to believe it

Think they were doing hydro as well...
I wonder what they do with the equipment later..??
I actually thought that a helicopter went round with a special camrea on it to find heat signiture from hot bulbs etc etc..
Everytime i hear something fling passed im up and to the window to see wtf it was..!!
Hopefully my 250w bulb wont give me away...!!

pretty sure it was gang related, some asian gang (the triads?) are gettin in on the action with other gangs i think, not doin a very good job it would seem.
- havnt seen nice commercial weed in a good while either ;p
they got busted in roscommon a few years ago too. whole bungallow kitted out with some poor illegal randommer sleepin on a campin matress lookin after it all.
what the vietnameese(?) were doin in the uk was buyin a gaff beside a street light, diggin up the path, whippin the supply from the street light and deckin out the whole house top to bottom.
im fairly happy with my 400 for now, i need a bigger tent which might happen soon, cool tubes have shite reflection-fact.
