Well lads! I'm still in the planning/research phase of my first grow but I signed up here after seeing this thread, it's great to see so many Irish with green fingers out there. I've been reading through this thread over the last few days and I'm well impressed. Decided on growing after getting back from the states, where my mates could call up their dealer and he'd list of what strains he had on the go! I've never heard of hook-ups like that over here so I decided to get the green finger out and give it a lash. I'm looking at either AK-48 or Northern Lights Auto from Nirvana seeds, but I won't be ordering for another while - I'm going to sort out a grow space and the like first.
Anyways, just said I'd pop in and say well! Props to the lot of ye!
Can't give a better answer than this, you may want to do this asap to jingle before it gets any worse..Looks like the roots are suffocating, maybe not enought drainage in the compost, is there any perlite in there or sand of something for drainage. Could be a pythium problem if the roots havent been getting enough oxygen. If its peat based compost, it often a problem.
I would repot them in a mix of 1/4 perlite and good John innes no.2.
Nice Lu, that light loks sweet...Damn im Jealous.well heres a few pics anyway of the new light aswell.
some nice power and a lot better coverage than the cfls. but im still going to get a red cfl just for a little extra.

Thank for the support man, I have 2 autos and 2 strains I don't know but their indica. Yeah I went a bit mad with the fan leaves but after a while you don't really need the big ones as the budds grow their own little fan leaves to reflect light into them. Trim off the bottom half of them if you feel they need it man it'll not affect them too much and if you want to do the rest whip them off when the budds get bigger, maybe halfway through or close to the end of flowering.hi fella
they are looking very nice indeed, very fresh looking, how many have you got going at once?. on your big plant did you just go mad and cut all the old leaves off, cos a few of my old ones need trimming i think. also are you going to start a journal with this bunch as it would be easier to follow if one of us needs any advice on an auto grow.
looking well nice though
good luck with them
