Yeah in wreckon so there only 3 weeks since I seen pre flowers, actually don't mind if they go longer gives em time to beef up, weather doesn't know what it's doing can't wait till I eventually start an indoor project

I'm gonna have to replant my outdoor ladies in fresh soil tomorrow, ae was spot on and the ph must be way off in what they're in now, leaves are deformed and mutated. My cheap ass soil meter is more than likely inaccurate and therefore untrustworthy.
Anyone have any experience with shamrock multi-purpose compost?

That's one thing I need a ph pen, can't remember what soil I used was a multiple purposes one too seemed to be alright, just started a compost bin for next year

I have a decent one for the nutes ,it's selling for 70-80 quid online and I got lucky with adverts and bought for 25 but for the soil the one I have was about 8 quid on flea bay and I have to assume it's not reliable.
It gives a 7 ish reading for my outdoor plants but I'm pretty sure it's miles off, I stuck it in the Shamrock I got earlier and it's reading about 7.6-7.

yeah its decent stuff, but just shake it through the fingers when potting to remove the bigger twigs..

i use aldi one, its a bit fine but with the hempy buckets it seems to work well with the roots comeing back up the pot in uniform manner and allowing them that bit of extra growth....

Fair enough so.
I'm thinking the soil conditioner I added to the soil before transplanting is the problem, it's either way too high or low in ph or I didn't mix it well enough and there's hotspots.
Did you find a foster home for your plants ae?

Hello again everyone! I got a CFL for my babies, and the difference between this and using my 600w HPS for my babies is astonishing! They look so much more lush with a beautiful green colouring. Woohoo! Thanks for the advice guys. They went into small pots now after starting them off in Jiffy pellets (which I think work really well). Another question please. After a bit of reading, I think I want to use Foxfarm to feed my babies. I know Foxfarm is not from around here, so any idea where I can get it in Dublin? I live North-side. Any help would be appreciated!

morning all, how goes it this fine day...

plants are all sitting pretty under a 600w in a brothers shed, well hidden behind locked doors, its only temp but the relief ...phew.. shall bring them home in a few days or when i think the heats off, until then, i`ve made a few changes in the shed here, the chimney now comes just 6inchs below the roof with just enough to clip on some ducting when the time comes..

working on intake as we speak, will need to be from the floor to make the exhaust passive and light leak proof, so where the shed butts up against the house seems cool and dark enough to be ideal for this purpose, when they built the extension they left a few inchs of a gap so it`ll be well hidden too....

got herself a new laptop yesterday, and this one has a hdmi hahahaha so now were set for watching movies on tv.. watched the hangover3 last night, wasn`t too impressed, few funny bits, but not as good as the first two..
