I'll pull up a chair for this one me thinks!......I see you have some Jack Herer for this grow. Lovely! :joint::joint: I'd really love to grow some Jack myself, but I can't quite bring myself to pay so much for the seeds! So damn expensive, but I'll grow a nice Jack mother out one of these days.

Any choice on names for this special one.
got to love those mutes. ive got one going at the moment, thought i saw a male preflower, but now i think it looks more like a tear shaped calyx... i hope yours fills up with the latter..

you going to be making any seeds with this brigade? could make some interesting crosses...

I might do with some clones I'm not sure yet

Today I am going to feed them, to make sure everythings cool and they happy, today I shall just ph water and dunk each cube several times and flush out the cubes.

I have been pushing these and giving them high amounts of nutrients for their size so its a good idea to give them a flush now and make sure that salts are not building up.

Today, I have nothing to do, the cubes are wet and will stay wet enough for the next couple of days. They seem to be growing nice and quick now, the late starters (the pure and pot of gold) seem to be laggin now as the others have properly left the seedling stage now and are growing pretty quickly.

First time I've checked on them in 24 hours, nothign seems to have changed, i haven't added any nutes or had to do anything with the plants in the last 24 hours, the cubes still seem nicely moist so I dont need to water them today either. :)

This hydro stuff is just like so much hard work.

Today i checked on them, they are growing pretty well and at a reasonable pace too, the roots are getting to be a decent size now so i think its time they had some more medium to grow into.

Operation saturation 2 has begun.

As you can see from picture 2 that the roots have grown pretty well for the size of the plant considering its been under 24 hour lighting, I heard a member on here mention once that the roots only grow at dark.

I've just put the rockwool into soak, the method i have used is the bath tub again. I ph'd the water to 4.5 and then used some liquid silicon. Liquid silicon has a high ph value, it is very alkaline. After adding the liquid silicon the ph came back to 5.5.

This is why I like to use liquid silicon in my hydro setup.

The silicon solution is a silicon supplement, supplies higher levels of potassium and silicon to build stronger plant cell walls, providing a barrier against piercing-sucking insects and invading fungi. Liquid silicon reduces disease and insect problems, increases stem strength and leaf positioning, which improves photosynthesis. It also increases heat, drought and cold tolerance. Use as a supplement with any fertilizer to provide non-toxic preventative protection against fungal infections and insect infestations. Recommended for all plants.

Ok so after a few hours of work, i've re-arranged my grow room. I've used my wilma system.

I have taken the big pots off the top and using the tray to hold all the cubes, its nice to have some flexibility.

Each of the plants has an extra cube underneath now, i've still kept them close for the time being, I still have a little bit of time where i can get all of these under the singled hid.

Yeah, i was doing it with the big 6 inch cubes before, but 70 plants worth of those is pretty costly, so i had to go with 4". The top cubes are large hole and the bottoms ones are small hole.
