hey m8. looking superb. the leafs turning up around the dge of the leaves- it that heat stress. i had the same thing but it went away.

yeah that is an effect of the heat, its nothing to worry about though.

if its consistant throughout the whole cycle could things be affected?

I've only ever noticed a problem if the plant got to close to the light. The 1k is roughly around 2 foot away from the tops of the plants and when i put my hand where that is it feels like a hot summer day, it doesn't feel uncomfortable though.

I still have a backup yet because at the moment the plants are resting on top of my res collection. Once these trays arrive when they finally do, The will have an extra foot of growth space.

I found a male today and it was a cheese clone, it must have been one that got in by accident. I've chopped its nuts and I plan to pollenate something, not sure what yet.

Sorry Timmay, I should have stuck with my 1st prediction at 55.

nongreen, whot hps bulb are you useing? is it a dual spectrum bulb? and thay are looking good,,,

two of them are sylvania grolux and the latest one the 1k is a osram son t. the grolux are enhanced spec where as the 1k isn't.

wich do you think is beter just for flowering a dual spectrum bulb or the just the normal one? and thanks,,

I would probably say now, that a normal one would be better unless you want to veg with it. The normal bulbs don't waste so much light in the green spectrum.

yeah a duel spec is a good all rounder for both cycles. the way to go if u wanna do the best u can is a mh for veg. hps 4 flower.

no big deal. but i thank you anyway for being so nice.

The aqua trays arrived this morning, so I have started to prepare the slabs.

I've cut holes into the wrapping so that the cubes can go on top. Next i'm going to soak them in 5.5.

So the results are now in and counted for the guess the female ratio competition.

Results will be announced tomorrow at some point

I got all my aquatrays yesterday. So I got the rockwool ready. I'm using 1m slabs this time and they come wrapped in panda film. I got 4 x 4" grodan cubes and distanced them appropriately on the slab and then marked them up, removed the cubes and then cut a 4x4" square out. This is so that i can put the plants as they were straight on top of this new medium.

I had to remove all the containers and wood that i was using to support all of the plants and exchange them with the aqua trays and slabs.
