Padawan...I am not your father. I'm 33. Honestly me being alive at all I take as a hellacious amount of luck. My mom's dead, my brother's dead, my sister's close to death, my dad's close to death. My brother was the healthiest of us all, and he dropped from a brain aneurysm at 36.
I'm not debating an active lifestyle is good, I support that, I'm saying that what we call healthy and unhealthy is skewed. Think about it, a few years back eggs were unhealthy, then they were healthy again, then the whites were healthy but not the yolks, and now they're back in fashion again. Cigarettes are considered horrible because they give you cancer, but at least 26 chemical compounds in coffee have been identified as carcinogens, and no one's trying to ban coffee. Caffeine is an addictive drug, so is alcohol, and both can cause harm to the human body in numerous ways, but don't eat bacon that has unsaturated fats that actually help serve to help keep arteries clear.
Ask 6 doctors if something is healthy, and you're liable to get 12 answers. It's called practicing for a reason. Not every human body is the same, and not every human body will respond the same way to things, what may be good for you might kill someone else, that's all I'm saying. Healthy and unhealthy are, at their core, relative terms that some people tend to place far too much value on.
I base my life on happiness, and that's my goal, to be more happy.
