This is a design I got from the old OG site before it went down or a different site that was 20+ years ago…

The material’s
1 - 2.5 gallon Tupperware or Rubbermaid container
1 - smaller plastic container with lid it doesn’t matter much
1 - aquarium heater you can get a cheap non adjustable one or a adjustable one I like to dial in my temp! Don’t get the one I show in the picture it’s a PITA to adjust and get right! Notice the difference between my thermometer and heater setting?
1 - thermometer to make sure your temperature is what you want
2 - 2 plain sponges no soap or weird stuff on them

keep the sponges moist, not dripping! A drip every 5-10 seconds when held on one edge works for me…Also keep one side of the smaller container open don’t seal it up all the way! This thing has popped old seeds 10 plus years old, seeds I found in my toolbox, seeds stored improperly it works! Just plain water and away you go!

Way too complicated.........just plant the fucking seeds.........you know, like nature intended.
This was made for hard to germinate seeds or old or incorrectly stored seeds that wouldn't germinate with other methods… Like indoor huh? As
natural as you can get…

A 200 watt heater in a 2.5 gallon container ? I can't imagine why temps would be hard to control .
You did see where the temp on the heater and the temperature in the water are different correct? Look up the heater and what fish tank people are saying about temperature swings in a reef tank or any tank for that matter… Mine swings from 78* to 81*…

Love these threads where somebody announces they have reinvented the wheel. When questioned about it.
They go on and on about it's the best wheel ever invented because it's rounder. Then become defensive and the best at everything ever done.. It's classic and quite entertaining! Thanks @Coloradocoolaid My router stays a constant 80f.
I never said it’s better did I? Let me guess dan reading comprehension is kinda hard for you?

Clean the material better and try to keep everything like torch angle and timing of your dip as constant as possible.
Thanks for the pointers! I’m no welder by any means! I can put two pieces of metal together and make it look like a bird shit on a stump! I’m way better at wrenching and machining…

Aluminum is picky. It can oxidize almost instantly. That creates a high surface tension and works against you. Your pre and post flow could possibly need to increase also.

It was windy that day and I was doing it outside… Plus my tungsten and cup should have been one size bigger… it’s all a learning process!
