Looks great!!! How long are you going to try and cure those temple balls for?

@Sirdabsalot462
What a fantastic question..

I should have pointed that out.
The really dark ball has been curing for nearly 4 months or more.
It developed a very dark and hard shell, I mean ROCK hard, it weighs 7g and is like a ball of glass.
I had the same hash un-pressed and just recently pressed it.. I pictured them side by side for color comparison.

I've had three different, soon to be four batches of hash that consistently tastes, melts, and bubbles much much more significantly than the "loose" hash, after being pressed..
Pressed wins EVERY time.

The latter couple of balls will also receive a minimum of 1 month cure/age before indulging.

I actually ran another batch today, I'll post pics tomorrow :)

If you would like me to post or re-post anything side by side, let me know...

I can put a little presentation together of progressive pressing by hand, progressive color changes, and since getting the new "hash only" pipe melt shots from the parenting hash.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! :)

This thread, along with just simply making and partaking in Hashish has brought upon a passion that Paramounts my passion for BHO.
^^^^
Yup, you can quote me on that.
BHO must remain in my stash for severe pain, but hashish is now my preferred extract...

I owe that to the people contributing here, and elsewhere... You guys know who you are.
:) thank you!

It's the actual bubbling action and the process of pressing that I have fallen in love with.
And, the high... Much more "complete"...lasts longer.
Edit: I forgot the most important,......flavor.
Goodnight Hashish lovers,
Respect the resin

I'd like to make one of those temple balls but I am pretty confident that I will smoke it before a year, lol. Maybe I can make a small 1 gram and hide it from myself.

I did do another run last night. These will be pressed maybe tonight.

45 and 73 micron combined and freshly dried

@Sevren - That is amazing! I have my sound off so I don't know what the soundtrack is yet but the visual is breathtaking! That is some pro shit there!
Thanks, the audio is the same as the original. Just timed to the visuals.

Sevren how could we be offended, I love it and TC will as well, I am quite confident about it
Thanks! Ah I just didn't want to offend anyone by taking someone else's footage/work and adding too it is all.

Happy Hash Wednesday Rollers.

I too have a hard time letting the hashish age, but it is VERY much worth it.
:)

So this latest batch I made yesterday, I'm still kinda blown away at the color.

Strains: Blue OG (14g)
Death Valley Cheese (14g)
Manual Agitation.
Yield: 4.3g
= I only count the 73=
(waiting on a 45 bag)

Right out of the water.

Thanks to Colorado dry dry air..3 hours later

This morning

The following pics are taken with no flash, best I can do with my old camera phone but the color is stunning.

I was going to press today, but my Arthritis said..
” No way bro”

Very excited to see how this will press...
I'm working on the presentation also... Should have some more images to share soon.

Respect,

Thank you, it almost stings the nostril if you put your nose in the jar.

That gold is almost surreal.
Edit..added one more of the smaller pics, please click on the smaller ones for full resolution
Albeit A 8mp camera phone if you take enough pics, some turn out okay.

I can now also attest to the teachings of Frenchy..

Pressed Hashish, after aging becomes more and more clean.

I have ZERO scientific thesis on why this occurs, perhaps the ruptured glands” eat away” impurities.
All I have is 3 straight batches of hash that got a lot better with a PRESSED cure, I cured the same exact resin for the same time, half pressed/half loose.

Again, I do I have these pics documented, I just have to re-organize and track-back dates, and what not.

But the pressed resin, on all batches, Bubble more intensely under lower temps (I have an E nail)(screen tech)..
The flavor, hands down is like canna-Heaven.
*Note: the more thorough the hash is pressed, the more intense the flavor.
*Another Note: Hand pressing is my preferred method of pressing.

*My hands are first scrubbed clean with a defoliation soap, then disinfected via 91% Alcohol Swab.

And, of I share my hashish (rare) I share my loose resin :)..
They are under full disclosure on how I made it.

Does not seem to bother my friends one bit.. :)

But, to elaborate, I feel a ” spirituality” with the resin a feeling a of peace and harmony, perhaps the aroma and and the oils absorbed through the pores of the skin getting me high. .lol

But seriously, I can ” read” the resin better in my hands, squeeze very thin, to ensure all the glands rupture, re-ball and repeat.

I've been doing this as stress therapy. Pressing a couple grams for 30,45 60 minutes at a time.

I think I have a problem.

I had that same pressing experience with some old scissor hash I had saved. It was all crumbly and looked dirty. I started working it in the center of my left palm with my right thumb and it just became this wonderful smelling paste. I couldn't stop playing with it and the longer that I did work it the better it got! I must have pressed it for an hour. So much fun :)
