dont think it will make it that far but i should have some nicely cured cannolis by spring
this was a small quick run but i will harvest in the fall in to new years or so for my outdoor and i will be able to do some quality work. new twin flower rooms here soon will help too.
i had a bunch in GA and when i moved to LA they died in a cold snap one night in a little greenhouse.
When processing this hash, is there a general rule for "thickness", is it better to roll it out flat, then cannoli it or can it be cured in a chunk?
I would have guess that much by the quality of it my friend. I would not smoke the oil left after evaporation but eat it most definitely. You have to cover up or bottle up your used alcohol if you want to reuse it. I also wash the oil with Everclear after evaporation of the ISO to be on the "cleaner side"View attachment 3029002Question, When I made several runs, I cleaned each bag (160;73; and 45) in 91 % alcohol, and within 2 days all of the alcohol had evaporated and left some great smelling hash? can this be safely used (smoked)? Picture is from 73 bag first run , not the evaperated hash
Awesome run my friend. When you keep in jar with the idea of curing you want to leave the minimum of air, oxygen degrade so as little as possible. As you do with flowers.Hey Frenchy,
He is my latest run. Green Crack Trim and Larf. This is the first batch that I bought jars for Curing... Man I wish I would have done this for every single run. It has such a powerful aroma when you open the jar.
My 73 came out like sand and barely holds together while the 45 stays as a nice clump. Any reason why it would do this>???
Also I was thinking about pressing them together. Do you think this is okay or leave them separate and press separate?
