All season are bass season over here. They just don't care to bite very often during the winter and this year had been cold with a ton of rain.
Match that with me being super busy. An hour here or there doesn't cut it during those cold months.

Its never too cold my man. They bite under the ice. It gets slow no doubt. Maybe fish for one bite but we’ve gotten some toads at first ice out.

Shiiiiit. 17 or 20lb CXX leaderline here. I’ll rock 30lb when i got quiikfish down there. You’ll still usually see me have at least 30lb power pro mainline on the spool
