Whats wrong with a living wage. Absolutely nothing. Minimum wage is not what you think it is though and doesn't achieve what you think it does. If it did, than $100 an hour would work. In fact it does the opposite on most occasions.

Do small businesses get the same tax breaks that big ones do? If you listen to the leftist media, they ignore that fact. Small biz is driver of our economy. Will you agree to work small? I have work to do in between.

Why shouldn't minimum wage be a living wage? Are those people and their time not worthy of respect?

How about their earning power? Why is it acceptable to say their efforts aren't good enough to allow them to participate in the economy?

This is blatantly false. America has refused to release funds earned from the sale of oil and gas in this country, starving his treasury.

Britain has refused to allow Venezuela access to its own gold, which they would use for food and medicine.

There is nothing factual in RT that can't be found elsewhere. What you are talking about is how you search out articles that confirm you biases. Such as how Brexit leave voters did so because of economic anxiety and not xenophobia and racism.

You don't understand economics. I don't mean any offense by that but nobody that supports $15 and hour min wage does. Not worthy of my respect? ha.
First off 95% of earners don't make minimum wage now.
The only ones who benefit from min wage is politicians. THE ONLY ONES as they sell it to suckers like you to get elected.

I don't think you'll grasp why reading your response about Venezuela though.
Jump wages up to $15 an hour and you will have hours cut, full time workers made into part time and businesses shuttered. What happened to AOC's coffee shop when they were forced to pay $15 to everyone? They went out of biz. Who benefits then?
The companies that don't shut their door increase their prices to consumers in a big way, which helps who? Most businesses are not making fistfuls of cash like Bern man is telling you. Most would love to (AND DO) pay what employers are worth.
What about young people looking to get their foot in the door? Are they going to benefit? NOT A CHANCE. They wont be hired in the first place for a wage above their worth. Then they turn to crime. Awesome
How about high school summer work? Do they get a job? Doubtful

Minimum wage helps politicians and you can see this anywhere you look. Let businesses pay the worth of an employer. If an employer doesn't like it, then ask for a raise.

Look at how wasteful this generation is with their money. A living wage today? Does that mean able to afford cable, Iphones, Apple Watches and more? Very little self sufficiency exists and the progressives are probably the worst. They expect handouts at every turn. No wonder depression is so high, do that all the time and what would you expect? Have some pride in hard work and it feels good. Working hard is a bad word today though.

It is always possible that RT doesn't have the scoop and I highly recommend looking for multiple sources- no matter where the story came from.

That goes double for American media outlets.

You are talking out your ass again. They said the same when Seattle enacted its $15 minimum wage law. None came to pass. Denmark has labor union negotiated $20 minimum wage. The economy of Denmark is doing just fine. Using the fast food index for comparison, the cost of a McD Big Mac is 50 cents higher in Denmark than here. US minimum wage is below the poverty level. Denmark pays a living wage and it's simply not the disaster you right wing dittoheads say. Fact is, Seattle is doing just fine. California and Oregon passed laws that progressively raise the minimum wage to $15/hr and businesses are doing just fine. Denmark is doing just fine too.
