A nice big fat fucking cooked/roasted goose would be more appropriate for my dinner the day Trump loses.

I just saw (on MSNBC) some 'protest' at a election center where they set up a free speech zone and are using it for community engagement to talk to them one on one and they quit listening to the conspiracy pushers (mentioned Qanon speaker was being shut down).

first, you have to be able to get the house. you have to make a secret bid there with deadlines- it's supposed to be more fair..but far from the typical house buying experience of going back to realtors office and writing up and presenting offer.

My wife is from Southern California and we’ve talked about retirement there. It’s not the cost of housing that we’re concerned with as much as the cost of healthcare.
nothing is the way it used to be..if she's remembering the good memories..that's all they are now..has she been back?
my daughter in Rhode Island says same about Florida when she goes back even in the few years she's been gone and that if given the opportunity she wouldn't return.
Come to Colorado it's beautiful here, blue state, programs you're treated well and they have the UC Health system so there are medical trials for everything..dispensaries..no earthquakes.
people from Cali come here and are the biggest number of transplants in CO.

Yes, sort of. The problem with asking for permission to grow or possess weed, is it doesn't actually remove government from the equation.
It reinforces the idea that people aren't free to make those choices without government approving it. It teaches people (erroneously) that "rights" come from government. Slaves get privileges, free people have rights.

I have little respect for most attorneys, pompous windbags, afraid to do the right thing and risk their privilege.
Attorneys are agents of the Court. The Court is a State appendage. Nearly all attorneys will protect their license and the State before they are interested in protecting your rights.
The problem is people accept the idea of the "permission state" and celebrate when the State "allows" them to have weed etc. That thinking is based in a (state) parent - child (us) relationship. Even when people "win" , as in weed legalization, they lose their inherent freedom in favor of "permission". Fuck that.
