So i made the order from 'Digi-key'....

CXA 3050 2700k and a CXA 3070 3000k for my flowering cabinet

The CXA 1304's are for a section of my veg cabinet...they are 4000k (more of a fuck around project...)

The 4000 k have less blue. Looks more of an even spectrum. Possibly higher cri. Looks promising. That's what I was planning on. Maybe 4 4000k and one 5000k for veg. I want to try 3000k and 660 for flower. It will be a while til I can. I've been looking at the 3070's though

Nice! How hard do you plan on driving those? Will be staying tuned to see how that all turns out and what kind of power draw and output you get. Those CXAs definitely look badass.

Yeah...it was more of 'fill my shopping cart to get free shipping' type buy on the cxa 1304's...Has anybody around here used them...? But yeah...a good balance of red in there for veg...seems to get overlooked sometimes i believe....

You are talking about the the bigger boyz for your veg....the 3050 and 3070's right?

i have also got 11 x XM-L2's on stars (XMLBWT-00-0000-000LT50E4) @ $4 a pop to add to my veg setup....basically set on 5mm think aluminium with ample cooling....seems to be working on my other panel quite well.

All at 600mA...i already have the drivers from a random project...700mA would have been my preferred...but mweh... :)

Yeah i will stick a power meter on it..when they get here...(next week i hope)

You'll love the results from the CXA3050s. I drive mine at 1.5 amps and I make some dank ass nugs
Thanks for popping in...good to see 'the pioneer of CXA's on RIU' posting here... :)

Yeah...im running them at 600mA for less heat in the cabinet and my heatsinks arent rated that high to take extra amps...(found out the hard way in a previous installation)...plus because of the close proximity of the plants to the lights (within cm's) the intensity would be too much.

I hope you are enjoying your dank ass nugs... :D

So digi-key came through....most impressed with their service to my part of the world.

Mounted the 3050 and 3070 CXA's on my floodlight shells. Tested sweet. Not much heat. Will be putting them up when my lights come on.

Hi man, yeah digikey has been my source for components for a long time. Their shipping is usually pretty reasonable and I always get things quickly:)

So thought i had better update this thread.

IMG_7398.jpgIMG_7399.jpgIMG_7397.jpg

Purple haze, pulled, trimed, dried.

Over an ounce from a 2 litre pot....which is ok....really happy with the density of these budz which were a little lacking in previous installmentz...

Nice colour, almost fluorescent green....hmmmm...might have been that 'organic uranium' i added.... :)

Moved up to 4.5 litre pots...1st harvest from those are about 6 weekz away... still got another 2 x 2 litre harvests to go...

Thank you kind gentz... :)

Now to get my veg in order... new 4500k XM-L2 panel to be built in the next week (should transgress in to my neutral XP-G2 module in early flowering more easily...) ... and i am finally learning the importance of training....in particular low even canopy training....before flowering... :)
