Get some 132qbs from hlg on amazon prime, a driver, wiring and power cord. You could have them with paper clips and fishing line if you want to be real cheap lol. Should be around $300 or less.
He can get 288's for less ... Why would he downgrade to less of the same diodes on a 132 and pay more? Lol.

Sorry little hungover and baked. I didn’t know if those numbers included shipping or not. But of course if you can get them for a better deal go for that lol. The 132s and 96s are pretty cheap if you’re doing a small grow. From what I remember seeing the shipping on alibaba, for low quantity orders, seemed to make it not really much of a better deal.

Anybody pull the trigger on these “ pucks “ ( Growmau5 ) style lights .... these seem self powered ready to hang.

Sent inquiring about a SAMPLE

Yah... I have really always wanted to run Chilled boards personally... And now that growmau5 has abandoned RIU spitefully, I wouldn't feel bad about trying the Chinese version. Lol :)

To be perfectly honest id go for none of them due to form factor. All of these offerings are for something about 3 feet long. You will be better served by 3 individual fixtures so you can dial in even light levels on sides and corners. It might cost you a bit more but if you would maximize the square foots much better. Why go for top notch lighting if you only give it to 80% of your space? This is the reason why i recommend you the "discoboard" but all in white diodes: they are about a 18x6" so if you hang them across your 4.5x2' space you would be able to light it effectively, sides and corners included.

Thank you for the suggestions. Not trying to be difficult but not really up to DIY'g the heatsink part.

Which complete kit would suitable for a 4.5x2 ft space?
Ive diyed thermal management using 3mm Alu-sheet and it really is easy. 12x40" alu sheet does 250 w extremely comfortably.
The disco boards in themself should be able to do around 50w with no heatsink using my calculations (around 60w per square foot of pcb).

None of these guys have a kit with separate heatsinks for single boards. Contacted the Aliexpress QB seller, he's quoting $367 shipped for 3 288 LM301B SJ boards with separate heatsinks and a 320 driver. Without the driver, $82 per board (shipped).

Russell sent me the following details on the disco boards, have asked if he has it as a kit.

152*558.8*2mm, HASL, 2oz,2.0w/m.k,560pcs

Finally got around to posting some pictures from my build. I've had it for about a year. Grows much better than the HPS I was using. In fact, I had to use HPS in another tent for a couple weeks and the plants ended up more stretchy.
Given the price savings I was able to use 8 panels per 4x4. Light is spread evenly from edge to edge. This gets crazy bright when cranked. Keep them at about 75% max. I had all the numbers but have since forgot. I should get it on my Kill-A-Watt to determine wattage.
Whoops. Pics below.

Id ask him for price quotes for 3 and for 4 shipped, board only.
Spectrum, whatever you like. You should be able to get 4 to your door for under 300. Then get some driver(s)

you are sure that increasing the temp this problem ends ?
Led light is different from most other in that it doesnt heat the plant very much. If you dont dont heat the plant it wont drink enough, usually. You can boost the calmag a hit, raise temps or add ir, use less light or wait until the plant has a really developed root system. Even adjust tge ph up a bit in order to make mag more available. None of these alternatives is a guaranteed solution. But raising temps (and following VPD, but not slavishly) is probably the easiest solution. Led plants simply dont like temps below 79F.
