The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

So they got back to me, the board I was interested in was 320 watt max power, and they wanted 268$ for it, and a little over 100$ ship it. From inside the United states. What a joke. What's the point of dealing with China if theres no real discount. As far as I can tell it's actually cheaper to buy from HLG.
I don't think there's any savings if you're only buying one package. If you're after multiple board/driver sets, there's definetly savings to be had. I just ordered 6x qb288 with 2x triple heatsinks and 2x hlg-320-48b drivers for $607 including shipping. That's almost $300 cheaper than equivalent kits from HLG - before shipping.
I was about to spring for the HLG-600k until I found alibaba

bY the way, I'm switching from 1000w hortilux in air cooled reflector....so will let y'all know this summer how yeilds compare to last year. Will be keeping the HPS on until April.

Also wondering if I should have looked into the 660/uv/ir boards....buyers remorse and it hasn't even shipped yet....FML.

Ya those boards are sick. Do you have a link to the ones you were looking at?
I'm just concerned that all the channels require different currents but obviously you could use one driver that will output whatever the lowest LEDs channel Milliamperage is.
But then that leaves a possibility that some of the (most likely white) channels will be ran a fair amount below what they can handle.

Do you mean if I mixed board types on one driver? I know better already, lol.
Or, do you mean having different types of SMD's on the same board? Let me know, beause if that's the case the ones with 660 are off the table.

I ordered 2 of these sets, supposed to ship Tuesday.

I'm inquiring about having one of those 2 sets shipped with these boards:

Vivi @ Kingbrite has been very helpful so far. Just waiting for their Monday workday to start in about an hour....

I call these "Disco Boards".... lol
Here's a one channel Chinese board with uv, white, 660nm, 740nm diodes, only needs one driver.
2 x boards running at 130 wall watts.
Seems like they grow plants ok with nice par readings.

Kings Banner in foreground, Paradise Seeds Sensi Star original at rear.
Theyre in Biobizz soil, perlite and vermiculite. Tomatorite feed.
I warm the water a bit before feeding them due to cold temps in grow area.

Looking ok for 22 - 23°c - 71f lights on temperatures
and 7 - 8°c - 46f lights off temperatures.

I did see those when browsing, was trying to stick with companies that have good rep here i.e. Meijiu or Kingbrite. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those boards you linked set up to run on multiple drivers?
Read my post before that one.
To get the most from the board yes.
But whatever the Max current the lowest drawing LEDs can handle, you could run the whole board at.
