I took the monster approach this year and I tell ya what I don't know if I can do it again. I have grown dope outside for numerous years before. I have always kindda planted and wished the best, usualy they would finish about 6 feet and was very carefree when I did check up on em. never a problem.

This year I started em early and they have been givin my utmost attention. Well the plants are already 7 to 8 foot tall and it's not due to lack of light. So now it seems that this shit is for real now. I hate to say it but there are just some plants I don't even wanna see, I cannot believe it I get about 30 yards from those stinky critical masses it smells like someone let off a pot bom.

So anyways I am wondering if anyone else has that issue?. I tell ya the truth with all previous outdoor grows, I would walk out with a cigarette in my mouth to check on em and if anyone saw me there f-em, I did'nt really give a crap. But with these monsters it's a whole nother world.

Also while we are on the subject has anyone ever grown a plant soo big that you would not go back to get it.. even though you are pretty sure no on else knows it is there?.

that's an awesome problem to have. check on them at night and wear a mask if you're skectched out about checking them.

i hear you guys...told my girlfriend"no they wont smell that bad"..yesterday she starts to panic.....the yard is really starting to reek, getting paranoid now myself...i think i put out just a few to many..

i was just on here about a week ago with that problem, my baby is 2.5 almost 3 months and she was well over 8 foot, i had to go outside and tie her down, i did a little late LST, if you want to know more about LST just do a simple search on here, hundreds of posts and threads about it, and your stress level will go down dramaticly, i know mine did, i was starting to freak out.

the first pic is from a couple days before i tied her down, the next is a few minutes afterwards, i go out every 3 or 4 days and tie it down a little bit more, try to not let it peak over the deck to much.

Yes, I am having the same problem, and to make things worse, I had some auto flower's budding so I clipped a few buds, you no just to test things out. Well very clear tricombs, immature buds equal one thing, "paranoid pot". I lit a joint when I was watering one of my patches and ended up running out of there, i got so damned freaked out. Needless to say I threw the shit away, and am smoking better older buds now, but still I get freaked. One of my patches I am growing Hawaiian Maui Wowie, and just for shits and grins wanted to see if they would really get that tall, well they do, almost 11 feet, and still growing, I do not know how I will tend the upper buds when the time comes, or if I even will. So you are not alone in this. Some of the things I did to help out. 1. There are noooo grow things at my house, no dirt, no fertz. no pots, or pot, nothing that could incriminate me. 2. I always try to bring my dog with me"hey man I am just walking my dog" 3. Drive bys, just check stuff out. In the end thow, if they (the machine) wants your ass they will have it. 4. I try to keep my spots with no more than eight plants. Hey good luck with your grow, stay free brother, roundplanet.:peace:

I meant for the purpose of cameras. Cops will plant cameras at grow spots to catch whoever comes out to tend them. Anf if you went at night, you'd probably look suspicious anyway.

I just tied them down...my problem is i put to much out...i even thought of ripping up 1-2....

Ah. Seems a bit extreme? Cops really waste their time and resources planting cameras for a couple of plants?

Lol some kid to go check on them at night.... Lol that's prolly not the best idea, maybe before the sun goes down but not after that. I went to check on mine one night but it was so dark, even with a flashlight I cudnt find them. Plus I started getting freaked out because I got lost at one point.

Oh dude!!! Where do I start?
I got 75 f1's, not a one under 8'...most are taller!
Almost all of them are flowering and some (indo's) are budding up heavily!
I stay up till 4-5am every night now, waiting for thieves.
The cops have already come and inspected my 420 legal grow (very unnerving).
The stress gets worse by the hour.
So, In short...I feel ya'.

I'm not goingto start worrying about thieves for a couple weeks when it really hurts.. Especially with me living on a college campus they are bound to be found... I already found someones plants on the way to water mine... I can guarantee they didn't find mine though. I hope.....
