I know it gets heated but its a really simple equation - When led out yeild hps per watt hps is dead and it will become forum fact.

The fact that it still is debated makes me think hps is still the no1 light for yeild and thats nothing to do with who owns what and how many growers use leds.

Exactly, they keep saying WHEN LED beats HPS, it has happened already, thats why we all swiotched to COBS and LED.
Even under my MArs I was getting 1.3 GPW.
Will COB it surly to be much higher.
Its as if they refuse to even look at a COB grow.

Ok but what about other factors such as near same yeild but half if not a quarter or leccy used ...on a business stand point it'd a no brainer. astronomically lower electricity cost (I pay 16c per kwh in ireland ffs) if I can run my grow with less noise n maintenance im possitive these lights have a higher life expectancy that that of a hps n their watt to par radio drops(like 2% a yr or some shit) far less over time in comparison to say a hps so saving on new bulbs,cooling,n general hps replacement scientifically proven par output to blow the hps away give it a yr n it's all about cobs

If it is true and you want it to be forum fact then break open a thread and educate the vast amount of hps growers that simply disagree with you, should be that easy like when we were all convinced t8's were better than t12's.
