the big bass i caught out of a pond

i caught this fish in a pond in my apartment complex if florida. the pond was about the size of a basketball court and about 10 ft deep. im getting the fish mounted.

You should of catched and released. So another person could catch him/her.

i never keep fish. i fish all the time here salt and freshwater and i used to work on commercial fishing boat so fish arent appetizing anymore. the only reason the fish got that big is cuz no one ever fishes it. normally i would let it go but that fish is 8 lb 3 oz so it is worth putting on the wall

whats wrong with fishing ponds i've caught larger bass than any trout or redfish i land when im on the intercoastal here in GA

I'd mount it too, the biggest fresh water bass I ever caught was 4 and half pounds and I go bass fishing often.

its funny that i picture some funny fat stoned guy fishing in the middle of some apartment complex or some shit lol but yeah one time when iwas like 16 i caught like a pretty big fish with my hand in this irrigation ditch thing i chased it til it hid its head under a rock(like i couldnt see it) so then i grabbed it and threw it out the water lol and im pretty sure that ditch is like connected to a WATER TREATMENT thing lol thats like a poo factory but i dont know but i kinda think it is,im pretty sure

it really suprised me that a fish that big could be in a pond that small. i usually fish saltwater though i was just killing time. ive caught dozens of 5 and 6 pounders but they are not worthy of getting mounted. plus most people only have once chance at a big fish like that. yeah i live in swfl close to the everglades so fish are everywhere down here. ive caught fish in ditches when it rains hard. but its florida too. there are more big fish here than people

yeah i caught it last thursday and im still excited about it. im straight addicted to fishing, had been all my life.

Her. Big largemouth bass are always female.

Ya catch and release. America needs to start doing what the Canadians do and let big fish go, they spawn better there for more fish.

If you ever get the chance to go to lake powell or lake mead they have such a ridiculous amount of stripers you can throw it out and pull one in every couple minutes, its a blast.
