The actual side effects of marijuana?

Tolerance is the worst side effect
I found sleep is the best way to avoid that tolerance. Once M seems to stop working well, stop. If its late in the day, quit until you sleep for least an hour or two. If its early, stop using M for 4--6 hours and then try again.

Another thing is your mood and stress level. If one is down in the dumps or under a ton of stress for whatever reasons, weed might not work too well, IMO. Your mind needs to be clear of problems and worries

Unfortunately...this is very true, even more so for those who start toking under 13-14 yo, on average ...but not everyone develops or matures at the same rate,
its also true that if you have any crazies / mentally unbalanced people in your family,...you too can expect to go the same way
good luck!
LMFAO wuts this shit

its like a poster I would have seen before legalization back in high school health class.

Looks like weed is dangerous. I should probably switch to meth.

lol "weed can lead to violent outbursts" stupidest load of bullshit i ever seen, who has ever heard of a violent pot head lol. kid died on the island recently bcuz of alcohol, alcohol makes kids do all kinds of mistakes like unprotected sex for example, and falling asleep outside like that kid. yet u don't see any fucking commercials in canada discouraging kids not to drink, always a stupid ass one about weed though. the world is backwards

Like any other drug, depends on the person imo, in the case of MJ even more variations as there are so many different strains and associated strength/composition of the meds. e.g. I get migraines and when they started I was taking up to 2000mg (4x Extra Strength) Tylenol's, they didn't do shit for me but I switched to ibuprophen (advil) and 600mg of that can make it manageable. With mind altering drugs there's more variables like your mood at the time, the reason you're smoking etc.

I don't believe any drug will fix anything if there's an underlying issue that hasn't been dealt with and you're taking a drug to fix it. I think of it as a lazy shortcut to an underlying issue that can usually be dealt with in other ways. I'm almost 55 and don't know anyone my age who's not taking some form of pharma meds on a daily basis. Not that I haven't had health issues (cancer for one) but other than when I was going through cancer treatments I take nothing else other than ibuprophen for migraines. Even then, if I'm not working I'll have a camomile tea with a high CBD bud before taking ibuprophen. Everything else I first try and deal with by changing my lifestyle, foods, what I drink, regular exercise, then resort to meds as a last resort. Like I said I don't take pharma meds regularly, which tells me there are alternatives or I'm extremely lucky? (don't think so)

Like I say to my kids, taking drugs is not the problem, the reason you're taking them is the problem. Have your shit together, figure out why you're taking something, then smoke or drink for the right reason(s) and you'll be fine. Otherwise it becomes just another problem on top of the original problem you hadn't dealt with and if anything makes it worse.

Well said Sunni
As per MJs effect (at least possible effect) on Alzheimer's............
I read an article addressing new and exciting findings suggesting that mj (or at least a certain strain or strainS) not only does it slow down or prevent brain cell DEgeneration; it may have REgeneration effect on brain cells. If I also remember correctly, this study was done in Germany.

If you think laziness is a side effect....smoke some flo
I personally think laziness ISNT a side-effect. It's usually a common stereotype that "oh weed smokers turn lazy and into failures in life" I call bull shit. If you want to become lazy, you'll become lazy. Weed is not an excuse to become lazy. You'll just become into a pot smoking lazy loser in that case, dont blame the herb.

"You can abuse marijuana... Well Shit! You can abuse cheeseburgers too! You don't see FBI going around closing down Burger king and shit. Just because you can abuse something, doesn't mean it should be illegal. I can take a fork and jam it in my eye, does that mean forks should be illegal?"

Full Credits to Joe Rogan, all I said just now was pretty much just copy pasted into words from one of his videos.

Yes Its true!

Personally, weed makes me very paranoid in public these days, that is because of a terrible trip I had from those sensi seeds "legal" weed alternitive that nearly ruined my entire life and mental state from just 4 pulls on a joint of it..
