My thoughts are weed can make a person lazy and that will sometimes cause issues-depression later on. Like later on U are bummed out that U didn't get something done or asked that person out. Even your diet might get messed up, instead of eating upon waking up, U toke up and miss breakfast and U don't care cause U are feeling good but then later on, U feel staved cause yeah, U skip breakfast, lol

Personally I feel this talk about weed causing mental problems is just cause nothing bad has yet to been found about using weed, it doesn't increase your risks for lung cancer, not like tobacco use does. so hey, it must cause mental problems, lets play that game to stop the legalization movement

Unfortunately...this is very true, even more so for those who start toking under 13-14 yo, on average ...but not everyone develops or matures at the same rate,
its also true that if you have any crazies / mentally unbalanced people in your family,...you too can expect to go the same way
good luck!

that is the biggest croc of shit article I 've seen in a while. Without any science to back it up whatsoever. The people that believe that garbage are dumber than the people who wrote it.

it can make anxiety worse and can uncover underlying mental illness yes.
From my personal experience, it sometimes made my anxiety worse, but other times helped. It really depends on how you're feeling that day when you smoke. For me, I usually feel really good and happy when I smoke, but about 2 weeks ago before I went over to my friends university for the whole weekend, I smoked and had a small anxiety attack like "why am i going, is she gonna like me, are her friends gonna like me, how will i do it, will i even survive this weekend" and shit like that. When I realized I was having an anxiety attack I just shutted myself up and went into the shower. Stopped thinking about it and felt good throughout the weekend. It was one of the funnest weekends of my year so far.
well thats a big croc of shit u idiot, no wonder u have that guy as your avatar
Totally agree with you on that one, most of that shit is so false haha

it can indeed heighten anxiety this has to do with the cognitive thinking of the subconscious mind that something is "altering" your state which sets you in flight or fight response triggering an anxiety attack but it can also help anxiety it all depends on how the said persons brain reacts to this as a medicine

in terms of mental illnesses it can bring up something that is already there , and this can be in correlation with smoking while still having your brain being developed (before puberty)

Not too sure on the Alzheimer thing i think it slows down the process of Alzheimer a bit but it doesnt actually fight against it nor does it stop it .
Alzheimer is a tricky disease though and there is much more research needed on it. (My grandmother has it terrible disease , like her soul is trapped ina body that is degrading over time.)

Anyone with a mental illness should be cautious about using marijuana while it may work excellent on some it may do worse for others and that is just each individual persons brain. The brain is powerful in our bodies and mental health issues can take a lot of time and work to fix.
Mental illnesses cannot fully be cured ever, they will always be there but each person will have to go through a trial and error process of different things to get the full body back into working order so that the person can live without it controlling their lives.

Because mental illnesses often have physical side effects one must work with many different social services and doctors cohesively to get themselves the ability to function normally, this would be like going to the help of a psychologist, a doctor, fixing their dietary needs to better suit and help their body, working with a counselor to figure triggers and work with strength based or CBT therapy and a doctor to help find a medicine plan that works for said person. The big trouble with mental illnesses aside from the stigma is that once they fix their diet, exercise plan, and start taking medicines whether it be pharmaceutical or natural after they start feeling better they usually stop their regime and return to the cycle of mental illness

Are you a doctor or are you just pretending to be one? So much opinion and so little real info. It is embarrassing that with all of the good anecdotal info and relevant scientific research available that we are still forming opinions on rumor.
