Most small grows will get a lot of co2 just in the air. large grow rooms with a lot of plants then it's a must have. With a few plants you plan to learn on then for the set up cost for new growers most times the the early money is best spent on lights, nutes the room, and the list gets longer.

thats just my oppion. and i am sure other will differ with this. but thats ok.


I do think that co2 if added correctly will help any grow. just remember co2 is a heavy gas so it falls to the ground. you need a timer set up all so that runs the exhast fan and co2 at opp times.

if you have every thing then add it. if not get the nutes and lights first.

i JUST started a Super Silver Haze seed straight to 12/12 (in soil now.. home made DWC in a week or 2) just a lil sprout right now

im also doing Arjans Strawberry Haze (LSTing that one) and Hawaiian Snow (topping) but those arent going straight to 12/12 i like to try different things

What lighting are you using cfl's or hps?

Good point, i plan on using that Co2 calc. to get the right amount of Co2 for that specific room. I'm going to be doing 15 clones starting the first of every month, and letting them go for 65-70 days 12/12 all the way, so that every 30 days there will be a new 15 plants to harvest. I want to build a screen so i can have a makeshift SCROG going on, but i'm just going to give it a shot. Once i have these clones in two weeks i'm going to use three as mothers to cut my clones off of, and start a journal to show you guys how it turns out

it looks like you have most if not all of it so yes use it.

but get some nutes. they are all about the same. i like foxfarm but any system should work abuot the same.

ive been looking into foxfarm nutes, just since they are well respected and i have a few friends who have had great results with foxfarm

thanks! ive learned a lot here and will be harvesting my first plant in 2-3 weeks (fed with CO2 bottle and molasses water) pic there..


and i will be getting pics of the S.S.H. and my lil DVD case DWC set up I am using CFL's i now have 4 2700k bulbs (aided by 3 1750k's)which works well for only 2 plants at a time in the closet

well if you pick foxfarm this is my 12/12 from seed mixes and yes i start on day 1.

Day 1
mix as follows:

1 gallon water
10ml to 15ml Grow Big

every water

.................................................

day 14ish
mix as follows:

do the above water

then every other time do this mix:

1 gallon water
15ml Grow Big
1/2 tsp Open Sesame

(this will force flowers to show sooner)

.................................................. ...............

the day sex shows or a few days early at day 21 start the first FoxFarm mix

1 gallon of water
10ml of Tiger Bloom
10 ml of Big Bloom
1/2 tsp of Open Sesame

then evey other tim h2o only

...........................................

2 week later switch to

1 gallon water
10ml Grow Big
10ml Tiger Bloom
15ml Big Bloom
1/2 tsp of Beastie Bloomz (some grower use this for Open Sesame) I don't know what happens if you do.

Give this ever other time

then h2o only the off water.

.................................................. ...

Then in two weeks

switch the nute mix to the following:

1 gallon water
10ml Tiger Bloom
15ml Big Bloom
1/2 tsp of Cha Ching

Give this ever other time

then h2o only the off water.

.................................................. ....

after two more weeks just h2o untill harvest in 1 - 2 weeks

note opptional: apple juice or some other stuff like clearX can be used the last few days as a flush to get rid of any last nutes.

also at this time the leaves will yellow and fall off. Just like the trees in tour yard at fall.

i have used co2 for a few years,it is a by product of my gas furnace and hot water tank,it raises my co2 to about 1800 or 2200 around their cant remember,but i have noticed now that my furnace is not running and im at the end of harvest im getting more resin build up,it tells me that at a certian point co2 is not efficient or needed,i noticed this phenomiom last year as well.it may also be due to the temperature change so i cant be sure,but it looks like up too 4-5 weeks in flower co2 is good after that not needed.who know it wasnt a scientific study.trapper

Gday this is my fourth grow I grow 2 at a time for some reason I started 4 beans maybe im gona end up with 2 girls. Anyway I have 2 week old 80 percent sativas in seedling stage (Serious Seeds Kalimist) considering 12 /12 at veg, under a 250w system should I veg for a short time or what. should I give veg food til i see flowers then switch to flower food.
will my yield suffer. 12 /12 people do you use mh at all is everything else same. is ther anything i need to know to avoid to do to look out for good things or bad things anything.

these are some shots on my first grow - Top44 - soil - co2 - 400W HPS. Still some of the sweetest that I have saved for special days....like.....today!! Walk On!!

is that 132g 0r 13.2g?

132g ..... the dish was tared out of the scale.....so the remaining....bud weight was 132g. I SOOOOOO love that weed.

got deduct a bunch for all those tree branch stems you got in that pan lol

oh...fur sur....no worries ..... I wasn't meaning to set it out there as anything special ..... just pleased with the result.....thanks for mentioning that though....

hey totally. no worries. I love it. for me, its a one hit wonder. Quite speedy (early?maybe) but a clean clear and awesome high. I totally love it. And you can get as baked as you want, no lasting side effects coming down....I am very happy with it. thanks for asking. Walk On!

looks good tahoe. i myself finished up some top44 a couple months ago. got to love the fast flowerin time.check out my smoke report in the in the strain review section and compare.i think its on page 2 by now.

anyways , i thought i'd fill you in on my other 12/12 from seed. its those freebie thai super skunks from g13. 3 germed . two weeks old. little stretched now, but they'll fill out eventually . i just threw them in with my other plants because of the long flowering time. 12-14 weeks. yikes.they are all unsexed as of this point . lower left hand side of the pic you'll see them. word . good luck yall

Tahoe what was the total yield from how many plants on the top 44 and was it just the 1 400 watt light?
