TGA Qrazy train-crazier than I thought

Met the Guy many many times. His wife Jill is a great person as is sub. Haters are gonna hate and he's had a few faults with his lines here and there as most have. He's definetly not a social butterfly. If ur not talking business chances are he's not interested in hearing it but that's no mark of a bad person. I could care less about what people have to say unfortunately I'm too poor to be honest and stop kissing ass or I'd have his social dimeanor as well. Lol. At the end of the day the Guy loves cannabis and lives his life for the plant. Not for anyone's judgement or opinion. That's very respectable IMO. If ur seeking a friend look elsewhere but if ur looking for a no bullshit man with no bullshit genetics TGA gets my vote. (This is coming from the Guy KNOWN for his refusal to pay seedbank prices)

Sub does seem like a dick (as do most breeders) but I like what I've tried so far from TGA. Jillybean was a beautiful plant, nice yield, AMAZING smell, but the taste was kinda bland and the potency was maybe a 7/10. His Cheesequake is excellent! Smell, taste, yield, potency, all very very good!

As I've said before, if I didn't grow strains from breeders that are dicks, I wouldn't be growing much weed.

Next on my list is Rare Dankness. Glad and a few others have posted some really nice pics, plus Mrs Rare D seems like a really nice person, so I will be trying them out next.

i like Cali connection ...RD....ograskal for a lot of their crosses they seem more consistent and stable in the phenos ------Bx?
subs phenos seem to have too much variation and I've never wanted grow any have grown the agent orange outdoors tho-

Definetly entitled to ur own take on it. Not everyone's gonna like him or his gear. Again he's definetly not what I'd call a social butterfly lol. But who can blame him? There are many breeders whoms.gear is top notch but I could care less for the breeder. The important part is they serve their purpose. Evolve the plant as well.as.its subculture. All the while preserving genetics. As long as ur happy with ur results at the end of the day. Its no coincidence that my garden is largely TGA and alphakronik tho lol. I'm also slightly biased as sub spent a lot of time and energy helping us out out here in my area and alphakronik is an old Co worker lol. But in all fairness I wasn't aware that alpha and I had worked together when I started running his gear. Anyway I'm rambling lol. My point is hate the gear all u want(I'm addressing noone.in particular for the record) but don't get slanderous. Stay truthful and don't judge the person behind it without irrefutable evidence. Not many here know the Guy on a personal level or how thin spread he is especially of late. God knows I've made some perhaps... ill advised?... judgement calls on a breeder or two and it never served any good that's for sure.

I've gotten plenty of weaklings and oddballs from TGA gear however no more than I have any other breeder IME. I personally enjoy the slight lack of stability. I know its undesirable for those looking to go and grow. But as a closet breeder (for personal grows) I like having a few phenos within the same liniage to play around with. I like the increased odds of finding a unique keeper that u may only see every 10,000 seeds in a more stabilized line.

These two breeders seem to be the most consistent in terms of quality out of the breeders I've tried. Plenty of flavor with a kick. Royal Dutch genetics strawberry kush is stupid good dank as well. But again I've only ran maybe 12 breeders gear as I admittedly don't use seed banks. I tend to clone or breed my own. But these ttwo are always around.

If you stroll around these forums, you will quickly find out, the answer to that question is, a whole lot of people.

Not my problem. Just speaking from personal experience. Haters are rarely bad for business. If he was out scamming people like Marc emery sales would drop and the bad reviews would be far less few and in-between . Business seems to be doing insanely well But until then I've seen nothing more than a lot of haters. Anytime I've ever had an issue I emailed and it was handled almost faster than I could hang up. Maybe I'm lucky but my luck seems pretty consistent. And that's enough for me.

Anyway sorry to go off topic here. Never grown Qrazy train personally but a friend showed up with some of the best bubble I've ever smoked. The experience put it pretty high on my to grow list. I've got too many to pop and.not enough tike as it is tho :/

I like that, I think I will use it "haters gonna hate." I'm just a screen dummy keyboard warior anyway why should he or anyone give a rat's? they shouldn't. I'm just telling you why DJ is so much farther up my respect scale than sub. I'm the only one who cares about my scale.

Obviously I am a little biased being a TGA tester, but since I am a mitten man I wanted to put in my two cents. Call me a fanboy or whatever you want, but I have had nothing but good things come from TGA/Subcool.

Can Subcool be a dick? Yes he can. However that is one of the things I like about Subcool. He isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. Sometimes he's wrong, but I will say when he is wrong he generally comes to his senses and does the right thing. If you actually took the time to get to know the guy he is a good dude. And he has a serious passion for MJ. He is all for the movement, with him or against him he has the same goals as all of us. To make cannabis legal.

I always was a bottled nutes guy, got sick of the schedules and shit and though google searching ran into his supersoil thread. I really never got into cannabis sites prior, but his water only method piqued my interest and I had to try it out. I had a couple clone only's I ran with his SS and was very happy with the results. So with those results I felt I owed him enough to atleast try out his genetics. So I went ahead and bought a 5 pack of Qrazy Train (pic's were too sick not to) and at the time the Tude' had a 2x Freebie of Dairy Queen and Chernobyl going on. If you would like to see how they all turned out I have plenty of info I all of my TGA runs here on RIU.

I've grown from TGA's menu (and got ladies) Chernobyl (loved it....prolly my favorite), Qrazy Train (probably my least favorite), Qush (not a indica man...my friends all loved it....night time smoke for me) , Test Strain Querkle x Bubba Kush (my first non stressed run is finishing now so I can't say yet, but looks amazing), Test Strain Harley X (looks fucking bomb and smells like bubble gum...finishing up as well more to come shortly). I have also grown a few DQ (1 died early on and 1 male) and Test strain Oregon Blues (all males) and soon to be Test Strain Jesus OG (HA OG x JTR). I also chucked a DQ male with my Chernobyl lime cut and I call her Nobyl Queen. Popped a good amount of those and found one that is fucking sick good. Smells like a tropical fruit but with a super pugent funky cheese smell. Super happy with my results.


With TGA I have only bought a 5 pack of Qrazy Train to date. The rest of the beans were gifted. I wasn't a fanboy from the beginning by any means until I popped his gear and found my Chernobyl keeper. It had all the traits I look for/prefer (smell/taste/potency/resin/sat dom). The only thing it was lacking was huge yields and that is not my main concern.

TGA has to be doing something right....check out MonsterDank/Batmanskunk, Nugbuckets, Hovering, Geekmike,TCurtiss, Budologist, ColdArmySoldier...ect...ect...sorry if i missed you, but there are too many to remember.These guys all are killing TGA gear. And alot of the guys started just like me buying the beans not getting them gifted until after we grew TGA first. Of all the people listed we all agree that TGA has dank to be found.


And I'm sure people will bring up the hermies issue....can TGA have hermies....certainly....but IMO if you running new gear in your grow room you should be checking for males sacs/nanners throughout the grow anyways b/c anyones and I mean anyones gear can herm. If they herm throw them out. If you don't have the time to do the selection of finding the real dank pheno's or you just don't have the eye for it maybe TGA isn't for you, but if your looking for interesting pheno's with hella smells and tons of resin and not to mention potency then TGA is right up your alley. You can say TGA isn't potent but Budologist/Hovering and other's have test results that say otherwise.

We all can be dicks sometimes. Think if you got 100's if not 1000's or emails daily asking the same shit over and over. Not to mention all the pm's and questions on here and all the other forums. Plus he has some serious fanatical haters out there that almost obsessively stalk him and never even grew a TGA bean (15yearsofbreeding/Bluntmassa I'm talking to you) and look for TGA threads to bash him.It's got to get redundant. I'm sure if you were in his shoes you would be a dick too. To me it's just him being real. And real people aren't polite and happy all the time.

Strains should not be released if they show tendency to hermi. This is a huge fail. I don't buy seeds from pollen chuckers.

I agree that hermies can be a problem, but to say what you are saying is contradictory. Some of the best ganja we know today came from hermie prone genetics bro. It's a roll of the genetic dice.

JK man, had to though. I got herms from other breeders that don't make it right tho.

My feeling's on herm's is this....they happen....don't matter the breeder. I consider myself enough of a skilled grower that I know anytime I am running new genetics in my room (from seed or clone) to check it for possible nanners/sacs. Last thing I want is a room full of seeded buds.

Let's put it this way, if I was running all this TGA gear and I got a high rate of hermies would I still be growing it? The answer is no.

Have I got herm's from TGA gear? The answer is yes.

Was the benefit of running the strain in full and scrapping out the herm's worth it? The answer is yes.

Of all the TGA gear I ran I have had two herm. One Qush pheno in day 40/50ish (threw nanners) and one BK x Q tester early in flower (was a full hermi). Granted at the time Qush (which is documented with pictures on this site and not deleted as everyone says he does with nanner reports) was a test strain. The Bubba x Querkle (also documented as a he/she @ 10 day of flowering) is still a test strain and my first run I had heat stress like a mofo in the summer, so it could of been my fault.

Funny thing is looking back on my first BK x Q run I am amazed the other two confirmed ladies didnt herm through it all, seeing how sad they looked. I wasn't treating them properly at all and they didn't throw any nanners.

sub is a business man first and a grower 2nd (now). the amount of strains coming out prove he is widening his market base with a great variety of cannabis. and there is nothing wrong with that, but with life you cant take someones experiences and make them your own. Learn from his supersoil, use his strains as a parent to your future Cannabis Cup winner. take a little instead of taking a lot.
it makes sense in my head, buts its after 4:20pm so who the fuck knows what i mean anyway?

I don't necessarily flip out when I learn a strain will hermie slightly in late flowering. often some aren't even viable. cannabis does this quite frequently, often from environmental stress. no-biggie, if it's too much just drop it and move on to more seeds.

My a.o did the same thing abe. No seeda just nannas. Also saw another report where 2 of 3 qushes hermed. But my qrazy train, j.t.r., chernobyl, and cheesequake all turned out great. No complaints here, but ias he a pollen chucker: YES
