Texas Growers Unite!

I have had a plant I kept under a light for a few weeks and then put it outside, unfortunately it got hit by the last freeze and looks like shit. I have it in one pot with another plant in there but the other plant is just now starting off... should I pull out the bad looking plant and wait for the good one or just see how it does in this nice weather we're all having now? I'd post a pic but I am not a member of any pic posting websites..

Hello to all! Just swooping in to say damn, today was gorgeous!
My sour diesel and blue girl are loving it! I'm 69 days from seed on the D, and four days behind on the blue. Both started showing flowers two days ago as I was hesitant to put them out sooner, but yay!! I think we may be out of the woods here in central tx, as far as freezes go, but ya still gotta worry and be prepared.

We hit twelve hours of daylight on march 16th so, after that if anyone else has early shit going we need to be mindfull of that as well.
I hope everyones everything is going well!:peace:

you want your soil temp to be at least 70 degrees, it stunts the plant growth planting it in anything cooler. i think 3/1 might be too soon. i always wait until the first of april.

Gonna put my girlies out on 3/1/11, i think we are done with the cold weather....

i would put them in a pot until they have a nice healthy root system. it doesn't take long.

could bee robert...still ways of beating it unless it's a MAJOR event. bet you remember my winter grow using frost blankets...putting big jugs of hot or warm water under the FB can help beat a hard freeze too. plus the LEOs are generally not watching during winter weather events LOL.

sure wish i could have pulled off another winter grow/seed run this year...maybe next year :eyesmoke:
