Hey fellow Texans! smoking some of my spring crop as I write... Yes the frost blanket that everybody ignored as a thread worked great! People walked right past it and didn't give it a second thought.
so here is how the results were this year. I had 3 out for this experiment; 2 indica dominant and one Mexi. I put them all out on feb. 1, they had all showed female. One of the indica went hermie in the last week
my guess is the increasing light turned her, but this strain hermies with any light leaks and there is a 70w bulb about 70 feet away from the plot. the other indica finished perfectly.
The mexi looks like the the prize...I'll cut her by sunday. VERY resinous with thin buds. She is a weird one though...If she wasn't getting close at nine weeks (and hadn't got the bean from some abeline schwag )I would have guessed Thai or asian. It's a true hermie...So far it stays 99% female buds, but it sends up ONE shoot of male flowers on a separate mini-branch. I clip that and 4-5 days later I'll find another.
so a mixed bag, but enough of a success to be happily high.

Some kinda 24 hour bug. Im glad I had some cured buds to keep me company all day.
Weed really is a medicine!!! 
. This time, I got some seeds from the attitude (fem BF Blue Cheese and fem GH Big bang) and my BFBC just sprouted on Friday. Once i get something worth taking a pic of, I'll post it up. I'm using the GH Flora 3 part with Cal-Mag plus. I'm also using florablend, floralicious grow for veg and will be using the Lucas Method, floralicious bloom along with Kool bloom once i switch to flowering. My sprouts and seedlings sit under (4) 26 watt CFL's, 6500k. I then swich it to a 250w MH after 2 weeks for veg and a 250w HPS for flower. If anyone has any experience with either of these two strains, I'd love to hear about it.
